BELMONT STAKES

Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner American Pharoah runs for history, aiming to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978, as NBC Sports Group presents the 147th Belmont Stakes Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage from Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y., begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET with Belmont Prep on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Belmont Stakes features hosts Bob Costas and Tom Hammond; analysts Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, the Hall of Fame jockey and two-time Belmont winner; analysts/handicappers Bob Neumeier and Eddie Olczyk; NBCSN host/NBC reporter Laffit Pincay, III; reporters Kenny Rice, Donna Brothers and Jay Privman; and race caller Larry Collmus. Josh Elliott and Carolyn Manno provide a mix of features and interviews at Belmont Park.

 

STANLEY CUP FINAL

NBC Sports Group continues exclusive coverage of its 10th consecutive Stanley Cup Final on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. ET, immediately following coverage of the Belmont Stakes, when Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning host Jonathan Toews and the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2.

Play-by-play commentator Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, and Inside-the-Glass analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call for Game 2. Host Liam McHugh will anchor intermission reports on-site, alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury, Keith Jones and Jeremy Roenick.

 

WORLD SERIES OF FIGHTING

World Series of Fighting returns to NBCSN tonight live at 9 p.m. ET, highlighted by two world title fights. WSOF featherweight champion Lance Palmer (9-1) defends his title against Chris “The Polish Hammer” Horodecki (21-5-1), and Champ Smealinho “The Prince” Rama (9-1) defending his heavyweight title against Blagoi Ivanov (11-1)

Play-by-play announcer Mike Corey will be joined by mixed martial artists and analysts Bas Rutten and Joey Varner to call the action from the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

 

FRENCH OPEN

NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2015 French Open concludes this weekend with live coverage of the Women’s Final on Saturday, and the live Men’s Final on Sunday, both at 9 a.m. ET.

Host Ted Robinson anchors NBC’s coverage, joined by analysts John McEnroe and Mary Carillo.

 

PBC ON NBC

Premier Boxing Champions on NBC returns Saturday at 3 p.m. ET live on NBC with Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero and Aron Martinez (19-3-1, 4 KOs) headlining the card. Coverage begins with a bout between two undefeated heavyweights, 2012 U.S. Olympian Dominic Breazeale (14-0-0, 13 KOs) and Yasmany Consuegra (17-0-0, 14 KOs). Following the NBC show, live boxing continues at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Blow-by-blow announcer Marv Albert hosts coverage from the from the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., alongside “Sugar” Ray Leonard (analyst), professional boxer Daniel Jacobs (analyst), Todd Harris (reporter), and veteran boxing referee Steve Smoger.

 

INDYCAR

Beginning this weekend with the Firestone 600, NBCSN will provide exclusive coverage of the final eight races of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season. Coverage of the Firestone 600 on NBCSN begins tonight at 6 p.m. ET with qualifying, followed by live race coverage Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

Brian Till (play-by-play) will call the action from Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, alongside driving analysts Townsend Bell and Paul Tracy. Reporters Marty Snider, Kelly Stavast, Robin Miller and Kevin Lee will report from the pits.

 

F1

NBC’s Formula One coverage continues with the Canadian Grand Prix live from Montreal, beginning Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN with live coverage of qualifying. F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group’s pre-race show, will air Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, leading into live race coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. NBCSN will also air an encore presentation Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead F1 broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett, and F1 insider Will Buxton will call the action on-site from the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada.

 

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

NBC presents the fourth round of the 12-race championship series of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Saturday at 2 p.m. ET with coverage of the Moto 2’s races of the Tennessee National.

Veteran play-by-play voice Jason Weigandt, analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston, and pit reporter Georgia Lindsay will call the action from Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn.

 

MECUM AUCTIONS

NBCSN presents Mecum Auctions coverage from Seattle this weekend. Live action begins Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by an encore presentation at 11 p.m. ET. NBCSN’s coverage continues Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, followed by the final installment from Seattle at 11 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s Mecum Auctions telecast team of Scott Hoke, John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and reporter Bill Stephens will call the action.

 

GOLF

Golf Channel’s live tournament coverage this weekend features the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance, Champions Tour Principal Charity Classic, European Tour’s Nordea Masters, and LPGA Tour’s Manulife LPGA Classic.

Weekend coverage of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance begins Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET, and continues Sunday with the final round at Noon ET.

Rich Lerner leads Golf Channel’s team from Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, joined by Terry Gannon (play-by-play), Nick Faldo (analyst), Matt Gogel and Gary McCord (tower), Craig Perks (on course) and Todd Lewis (interviews).

The LPGA Tour’s Manulife LPGA Classic begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues Sunday with coverage of the final round at 2 p.m. ET.

Whit Watson (play-by-play) hosts the live coverage from Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, Ont., Canada. Joining Watson will be Karen Stupples (analyst), Tom Abbott (tower) and Jerry Foltz and Kay Cockerill (on course).

Coverage of the European Tour’s Nordea Masters begins Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues Sunday with coverage of the final round at 7 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz hosts coverage from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando, Fla. Joining Ritz calling the action from PGA Sweden National in Malmo, Sweden are Julian Tutt (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys (analysts) and Jay Townsend (on course).

The Champions Tour Principal Charity Classic begins tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Coverage continues Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ET, and concludes with the final round Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.
