STAMFORD, Conn. – May 20, 2015 – NBCSN presents Game 3 of the NHL Eastern Conference Final tonight at 8 p.m. ET, when Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning host Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers.

Tonight’s coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live, featuring host Liam McHugh alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick, leading into live game coverage from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets – will provide streaming coverage of tonight’s Eastern Conference Final Game 3 matchup.

Tampa Bay evened the series at one game apiece with a 6-2 victory in Game 2 at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, as Tyler Johnson notched the first hat trick in Lightning playoff history, and was one of nine Lightning skaters to record at least one point.

John Forslund will handle play-by-play duties for Game 3, alongside U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning Inside-the-Glass analyst Pierre McGuire from Tampa.

BLACKHAWKS-DUCKS TRIPLE-OVERTIME THRILLER DELIVERS BEST-EVER RATING ON NBCSN IN LOS ANGELES FOR DUCKS GAME

Last night’s triple-overtime thriller between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks (9 p.m.-2:15 a.m. ET), in which the Blackhawks defeated to the Ducks by a score of 3-2 to even the series at one game apiece, produced a 3.1 rating in Los Angeles, making it the highest-rated Ducks game ever on NBCSN in the L.A. market.

Nationally, the game produced a 1.37 overnight rating, up 4% from last year’s Game 2 matchup between Chicago and Los Angeles (1.32). Chicago was the top market, producing a 12.5 rating.

 


WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 3 – DUCKS-BLACKHAWKS – TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 1-1

The Blackhawks look to build off of their dramatic triple-overtime win tomorrow night, when they host the Ducks in Game 3 at 8 p.m. ET. Chicago won the game late in the third overtime, when Marcus Kruger scored on the rebound of Brent Seabrook’s shot to give the Blackhawks an important victory to tie the series at one, in what was the longest game in Blackhawks franchise history. Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford made 60 saves, outlasting Anaheim goaltender Frederik Andersen, who stopped 53 shots in the loss.

Three-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator and Sports Illustrated 2014 Media Person of the Year Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick , U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning Inside-the-Glass analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
