NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

NBC Sports Group’s weekend coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs begins on NBCSN tonight at 7 p.m. ET, when the Washington Capitals look to eliminate the New York Rangers in Game 5, followed by the Anaheim Ducks against the Calgary Flames at 9:30 p.m. ET in Game 4 of their series. John Forslund (play-by-play) and Pierre McGuire (Inside-the-Glass analyst) have the call of Capitals-Rangers, while Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (Inside-the-Glass analyst) are on-site in Calgary for Game 4 of Flames-Ducks.

Coverage continues Saturday on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET, when the Tampa Bay Lightning face off against the Montreal Candians in Game 5 of the series. Kenny Albert (play-by-play) and Joe Micheletti (Inside-the-Glass analyst) call the action in Montreal.

Sunday’s schedule will be determined following tonight’s games.

Liam McHugh hosts NHL Live and NHL Overtime, along with Jeremy Roenick and Keith Jones on Friday, and with Roenick and Mike Milbury on Saturday. Kathryn Tappen, Milbury and Jones host Sunday’s NHL Live and NHL Overtime.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET. Live match coverage begins at 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Everton v. Sunderland, followed by Newcastle v. West Brom at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Hull City v. Burnley, Aston Villa v. West Ham, Stoke City v. Tottenham and Leicester City v. Southampton matches will air on Premier League Extra Time at 10 a.m. ET. Saturday’s live match coverage wraps up with Crystal Palace v. Manchester United at 12:30 p.m. ET on CNBC.

NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls Crystal Palace v. Manchester United, joined by Lee Dixon at Selhurst Park.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET on CNBC with Premier League Live, followed by Manchester City v. Queens Park Rangers at 8:30 a.m. ET. Coverage continues on NBCSN at 10:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by Chelsea v. Liverpool at 11 a.m. ET.

White calls the Chelsea v. Liverpool match, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux at Stamford Bridge.

GOLF

NBC Sports Group’s weekend golf coverage features the PGA Tour’s THE PLAYERS Championship Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, and coverage around-the-clock on Golf Channel throughout the weekend on Morning Drive and Golf Central’s Live from THE PLAYERS.

Golf Channel on NBC’s live tournament coverage of THE PLAYERS Championship will be anchored by Dan Hicks and Hall-of-Famer Johnny Miller. Joining Hicks and Miller from TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla. are Gary Koch (17th hole) and Peter Jacobsen (15th hole) in tower positions; Notah Begay, Billy Ray Brown, Roger Maltbie and Mark Rolfing walking with the players; Steve Sands conducting interviews; and Jimmy Roberts providing features and essays. NBC Sports Group’s Josh Elliott will again host NBC’s weekend coverage.

 

F1 SPANISH GRAND PRIX

NBC Sports Group’s Formula One coverage continues this weekend from Barcelona with the Spanish Grand Prix this Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage begins Saturday at 8 a.m. ET on CNBC with qualifying; NBCSN will air an encore presentation of qualifying at 3:30 p.m. ET, immediately followed by GP2 – Spain at 5 p ET.

Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call this weekend’s action, and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

 

CYCLING

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2015 Amgen Tour of California begins Sunday at 5 p.m. ET with Stage 1: Sacramento.

Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwen and 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge winner Christian Vande Velde will be on site in California to provide commentary and insight for each day of NBC Sports Group’s coverage with reporters Steve Schlanger and Steve Porino (‘Inside-the-Race’). Jens Voigt, who won the Critérium International a record-tying five times and has three top-10 Tour of California finishes, makes his NBC Sports Group debut as an analyst and reporter.
