COMCAST SPORTSNET ANNOUNCES DETAILS FOR UPCOMING “BEHIND THE LENS” BLACKHAWKS & BULLS HOME GAME TELECASTS

Chicago, IL (March 13, 2015) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls, will once again provide fans with a unique, alternative “Behind the Lens” viewing experience for a pair of back-to-back home game telecasts taking place next week.

On Tuesday, March 17 (Blackhawks vs. NY Islanders, coverage begins at 7:00pm CT) & Wednesday, March 18 (Bulls vs. Indiana, coverage begins at 6:30pm CT), Comcast SportsNet will present special “Behind the Lens” game presentations, which will enable viewers to watch an alternate, enhanced game telecast display on Comcast SportsNet Plus, while still being able to view the primary, regular airing of the game on the main Comcast SportsNet channel location.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Comcast SportsNet’s “Behind the Lens” special game presentations air exclusively on Comcast SportsNet Plus (In high-definition on Comcast ch. 201 in the Chicago area & South Bend, IN…ch. 285 in Comcast’s Peoria, Springfield, Rockford and Champaign markets…along with AT&T U-verse, RCN, and WOW homes among others); viewers are urged to visit CSNChicago.com’s CHANNEL FINDER for the exact CSN+HD channel location in their area.

For the network’s Blackhawks and Bulls March presentations of “Behind the Lens” airing next week, viewers who tune into CSN+HD will notice a “Tri-Box” presentation, which will feature the primary main feed of the game located on top of the screen, with two smaller boxes on the lower left and right sides that will showcase a variety of isolated on the ice/court shots, plus…a rarely seen perspective inside the CSN game production truck – including behind-the-scenes audio – which will feature the producers and directors of the games calling various camera angles, communicating in real time with Blackhawks announcers Pat Foley & Eddie Olczyk and Bulls announcers Neil Funk & Stacey King, and much more.

Social media fans can also interact throughout both nights with their own “Behind the Lens” comments by utilizing the Twitter hashtag #BehindtheLens with select tweets to be shown on-screen during each game on the alternative “Behind the Lens” telecast.
