NBC Sports Group’s weekend NHL coverage begins Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET with NHL Game of the Week, featuring Sidney Crosby’s Pittsburgh Penguins and Patrick Kane’s Chicago Blackhawks. Sunday’s action continues at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Buffalo Sabres host the Philadelphia Flyers on NBCSN. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live.

Play-by-play commentator Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire have the call for Sunday’s Penguins-Blackhawks.

Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (analyst) have the call for Buffalo-Philadelphia from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, N.Y.

Liam McHugh, Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick anchor NBC’s studio coverage, while Keith Jones joins McHugh and Roenick for NHL Live on NBCSN.

 

SKIING

This weekend NBC Sports Group concludes its coverage of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Coverage begins tonight at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN with an encore presentation of the Nations Team Event. The finals of the Women’s Slalom begin Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships conclude Sunday, beginning with the finals of the Men’s Final at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC, and the Best of the World Championships at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The broadcast team of Dan Hicks (play-by-play), Steve Porino (analyst), Todd Brooker (analyst), Christin Cooper (analyst), and Carolyn Manno (reporter) call the action from Beaver Creek, Colo.

 

RUGBY

NBC Sports Group weekend coverage of the USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament from Las Vegas, Nev., begins Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. Saturday’s coverage continues at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Live coverage of Sunday’s semifinals and final match begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, and continues on NBCSN at 4:30 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the tournament will feature live coverage of full matches, as well as highlights from the three-day event.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Todd Harris calls the matches for NBC and NBCSN. Harris will be joined in the booth by former USA Sevens captain and USA Rugby World Cup participant Brian Hightower. Marty Snider reports from the sidelines.

 

GOLF

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage of the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am begins Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, and continues with live coverage of the final round Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Whit Watson leads Golf Channel’s team calling the action from Pebble Beach, Calif., alongside Brandel Chamblee (analyst), Matt Gogel and David Feherty (tower), Phil Parkin (on course), and Steve Burkowski (interviews).

Golf Channel’s coverage of the European Tour’s True Thailand Classic continues at 6 a.m. ET, and concludes with coverage of the final round Sunday at 5:30 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz hosts the coverage from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando, joined by Dominik Holyer (play by play), Dom Boulet (analyst), and Julian Tutt (on course) calling the action from Black Mountain Club in Hua Hin, Thailand.

Golf Channel’s coverage of the Champions Tour: ACE Group Classic continues Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Coverage of Sunday’s final round begins at 3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Calling the action from The TwinEagles Club in Naples, Fla. is Bob Papa (play by play), Lanny Wadkins (analyst), John Mahaffey and Dave Marr (tower), and Billy Ray Brown (on course).

 

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBCSN presents a Hockey East weekend series on Friday and Saturday nights from South Bend, as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish welcome the No. 11 Providence Friars. Coverage of Friday’s game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, with coverage of Saturday’s game beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Anson Carter (analyst) call both games from the Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind.

 

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBCSN presents four college basketball matchups this weekend, beginning Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET with an Atlantic-10 matchup between St. Bonaventure University and University of Dayton. Saturday’s coverage continues at 2:30 p.m. ET when The College of William & Mary hosts University of Delaware in a CAA Conference game.
