SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Tom Brady and the AFC East-leading New England Patriots (9-3) visit Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers (8-4) at Qualcomm Stadium Sunday on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.  Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET.

Calling Patriots-Chargers is play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, analyst Cris Collinsworth and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by 26-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif., alongside Collinsworth, Tafoya, Hines Ward, and NBC Sports commentator Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group’s Studio 1 joined by Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Kathryn Tappen will report from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., on the Seahawks-Eagles game.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET. Kicking off Saturday’s matches on NBCSN is Newcastle v. Chelsea at 7:45 a.m. ET, followed by Liverpool v. Sunderland at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Hull City v. West Brom; Stoke City v. Arsenal; Queens Park Rangers v. Burnley; and Tottenham v. Crystal Palace matches will air on Premier League Extra Time at 10 a.m. ET.

NBC hosts coverage of Manchester City v. Everton at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 6:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Match of the Day followed by Premier League Live at 7:30 a.m. ET.  Sunday’s matches on NBCSN begin at 8:30 a.m. ET with West Ham v. Swansea City, followed by Aston Villa v. Leicester City at 11 a.m. ET. Goal Zone begins at 1 p.m. ET, immediately following Sunday’s live matches on NBCSN, with Match of Day beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET.

GOLF

Coverage of Tiger Woods’ return to headline an invitation-only, star-studded field at the Hero World Challenge continues Saturday at noon ET on Golf Channel, followed by coverage on NBC at 2 p.m. ET. Coverage of the final round begins Sunday at noon ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dan Hicks and Roger Maltbie anchor NBC’s weekend coverage, while Terry Gannon and Frank Nobilo call the action for Golf Channel’s “lead-in” coverage. Gary Koch, Notah Begay, Billy Kratzert and Steve Sands report for both Golf Channel and NBC from Isleworth Country Club in Orlando, Fla.

 

MECUM AUCTIONS

Coverage of Mecum Auctions: Kansas City continues Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Scott Hoke hosts NBC Sports Group’s Mecum Auctions coverage this weekend from the Kansas City Convention Center, alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox and reporter Bill Stephens.

 

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBCSN presents two college hockey matchups this weekend featuring Hockey East teams, beginning tonight at 8 p.m. ET, when the New Hampshire Wildcats host the No. 17 Boston College Eagles. The No. 7 UMass-Lowell River Hawks host the Maine Black Bears Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET in this weekend’s second Hockey East matchup on NBCSN.

Dan Parkhurst (play-by-play) and Ken Hodge (analyst) provide live commentary for the New Hampshire-Boston College game from the Whittemore Center Arena in Durham, N.H.
