SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

NBC continues its holiday tradition this Thursday night with Sunday Night Football on Thanksgiving Night, when Russell Wilson and the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks (7-4) visit Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers (7-4) in a pivotal NFC West showdown at 8 p.m. ET.

Weekend coverage continues on NBC this Sunday when Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (8-3) travel to Kansas City to face Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs (7-4) on Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Calling Seahawks-49ers and Broncos-Chiefs is play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, analyst Cris Collinsworth and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night In America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by 26-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Thanksgiving night. Costas will report from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Sunday night, alongside Collinsworth, Tafoya, Hines Ward, and NBC Sports commentator Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group’s Studio 1. On Thursday night, he will be joined by Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison. Patrick, Dungy, and Harrison will also anchor Sunday night’s coverage alongside Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Kathryn Tappen will report from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis., on the Patriots-Packers game on Sunday.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET. Kicking off Saturday’s matches on NBCSN is West Bromich Alboin v. Arsenal at 7:45 a.m. ET, followed by Manchester United v. Hull City at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Liverpool v. Stoke City, West Ham v. Newcastle, Swansea City v. Crystal Palace, Burnley v. Aston Villa, and Queens Park Rangers v. Leicester City matches will air on Premier League Extra Time at 10 a.m. ET.

NBC hosts coverage of Sunderland v. Chelsea at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League World, followed by Match of the Day at 6:30 a.m. ET, and Premier League Live at 7:30 a.m. ET. Sunday’s matches on NBCSN begin at 8:30 a.m. ET with Southampton v. Manchester City, followed by Tottenham v. Everton at 11 a.m. ET. Sunday’s Premier League coverage wraps up with Goal Zone at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NFL TURNING POINT

Tonight’s all new edition of NFL Turning Point begins at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The episode features in-depth analysis of some of Week 12’s most compelling matchups, including Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys’ comeback win over Eli Manning and the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, including a breakdown of the spectacular one-handed touchdown catch by Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. The episode will also review the key moments that defined the Dolphins–Broncos game.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

 

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBCSN will present live coverage of the 2014 Barclays Center Classic this holiday weekend from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., beginning tonight at 7 p.m. ET with Rutgers vs. Vanderbilt, followed by No. 8 Virginia facing LaSalle at 9 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with the consolation game, followed by the championship game at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Former UCLA head coach Ben Howland will make his national television debut as a game analyst throughout the tournament. Howland will be joined by play-by-play commentator Terry Gannon. Dalen Cuff will report from the sideline for both games on Friday night, and Chris Mannix will manage reporting duties for the Consolation and Championship Games on Saturday night. In addition, Dave Briggs will host NBCSN’s college basketball studio show, joined by analyst Ron Thompson.

 

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

NBC Sports Group concludes its 2014 college football coverage this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC with Southern University (8-3) and Grambling State (7-4) facing off in the annual Bayou Classic from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.

Paul Burmeister will serve as the play-by-play announcer, joined in the booth by Anthony Herron. Lewis Johnson will report from the sidelines.

 

MLS

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs continues as the New England Revolution host the New York Red Bulls in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Championship, Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The winner of the series will advance to MLS Cup.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., and is joined by former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler.

 

NHL

NBC’s coverage of the 2014-15 NHL regular season begins Friday at 1 p.m. ET, when Martin St. Louis, Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers travel to Philadelphia to face Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek and the Flyers in the 2014 NHL Thanksgiving Showdown.

Coverage begins with NHL Live – NBC Sports Group’s NHL pre-game show – on-site from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., hosted by Kathryn Tappen, alongside analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.

NBCSN’s Wednesday Night Rivalry begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, featuring the Philadelphia Flyers traveling to Detroit to take on the Red Wings

Jim Jackson (play-by-play), Bill Clement (analyst), and Chris Therien (Inside-The-Glass analyst) will have the call from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.

 

FIGURE SKATING

NBC continues its coverage of the 2014 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series with Grand Prix Japan. Coverage of the men’s and ladies’ free skates begins this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.

1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and play-by-play announcer Terry Gannon will host coverage. Analyst Tracy Wilson will report on-site from the Namihaya Dome in Osaka, Japan.
