ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 18, 2014 – Golf Channel will deliver comprehensive news and tournament coverage of the CME Group Tour Championship, the season-ending event on the 2014 LPGA Tour, taking place at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 20-23.

The field is comprised of 69 of the LPGA Tour’s best players in the concluding event of the season-long “Race to the CME Globe,” with the top-nine players in the points race eligible to win the $1 million prize, in addition to a $500,000 first place check.  Three players control their own destinies: Stacy Lewis currently leads the inaugural Race to the CME Globe standings, with Rolex Rankings World No. 1 Inbee Park in second and 2014 LPGA Rookie of the Year Lydia Ko in third.  Should any of them win this week, they will be assured the $1 million prize and be crowned the Race to the CME Globe champion.

NEWS CONFERENCES SHOW WEDNESDAY: Golf Channel’s news coverage of the CME Group Tour Championship kicks off with a news conferences show on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. ET, including press conferences featuring Michelle Wie, Stacy Lewis, Inbee Park and Lydia Ko.

TEN HOURS OF LIVE TOURNAMENT COVERAGE: Golf Channel will air 10 hours of live tournament coverage Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 20-23 from 1:30-4 p.m. ET.  All four rounds will re-air from 4:30-7 p.m. ET, and live coverage also will be streamed online at GolfChannel.com via Golf Channel’s Golf Live Extra App.

ROLEX AWARDS CELEBRATION COVERAGE: Golf Channel will cover the Rolex Awards Celebration on Thursday for a half-hour special that will air Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET.  Lisa Cornwell will report for Golf Central and will host the special that will honor and celebrate the year’s best players and achievements on the LPGA Tour.
