STAMFORD, Conn. – November 5, 2014 – NBC Sports Group presents two Conference Semifinal second leg matches, beginning with D.C. United hosting the New York Red Bulls and MLS regular season leading-scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips (27 goals) at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The Red Bulls lead rivals D.C. United in their playoff series after winning 2-0 at home in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. D.C. United must win Saturday’s match by three goals or more to advance.

On Monday, the Supporters’ Shield recipients Seattle Sounders and U.S. Men’s National Team captain Clint Dempsey host FC Dallas at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN in a Western Conference Semifinal matchup. In the first leg on November 2, Seattle’s Osvaldo Alonso scored a crucial equalizer to draw 1-1 at FC Dallas.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong calls both matches, and is joined by former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler.

Strong on D.C. United vs New York Red Bulls and Seattle Sounders vs FC Dallas: “We have two really interesting, and quite different, second legs coming this week. On Saturday, Ben Olsen‘s D.C. United fairytale needs another twist to keep going, down 2-0 at home after the away loss last weekend. It’s a chance for Thierry Henry and New York to repair some of their tortured playoff history against their biggest rivals. Monday night, Clint Dempsey and the Seattle Sounders will try to take care of business at home at home and continue their quest to add an MLS Cup to their Supporters’ Shield and US Open Cup. Coach Oscar Pareja and FC Dallas will be in for a fight, but showed in the 1-1 home draw they’re up to the challenge.”
