NBC Sports Digital Unveils New Graphics for Premier League Live Streaming

NBC Sports Digital has developed new broadcast-quality graphic overlays that provide an improved streaming experience for Premier League fans when they watch matches on NBC Sports Live Extra.

The new functionality and visualizations include real-time player and match statistics; navigable Play-by-Play text synchronized with the video stream; fantasy news from RotoWorld; and live tables that provide real-time league standings. In addition, every goal, every red card and every key moment are quickly available to viewers via the redesigned Key Events bar.

The replay experience is spoiler-free, as all relevant statistics provided by the new graphics are synchronized to the video.

“We constantly strive to improve the streaming experience for our viewers,” said Jack Jackson, VP, Product Development, NBC Sports Group. “These new graphic overlays provide fans with real-time information at their fingertips. Whether it’s real-time match information, league standings or fantasy stats, Premier League fans will have more information at their disposal than ever before. And the new information is synchronized to the video, allowing fans watching replays a spoiler-free experience.”
