SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Peyton Manning looks to become the most prolific quarterback in NFL history this Sunday when the Denver Broncos (4-1) host Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers (4-2) on Sunday Night Football on NBC at 8:20 p.m. ET. Coverage begins with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Calling 49ers-Broncos is play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, analyst Cris Collinsworth, and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by Bob Costas, who will report from Mile High Stadium on Sunday. Costas will be joined on site by Collinsworth, Tafoya, Hines Ward and Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group’s Studio 1 and will be joined by Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Kathryn Tappen will report from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on the Giants-Cowboys game.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins tomorrow at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Match pack, followed by Barclays Premier League Preview. Premier League Live begins at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Manchester City vs. Tottenham at 7:45 a.m. ET, and Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Arsenal vs. Hull City, Everton vs. Aston Villa, Newcastle vs. Leicester City, Southampton vs. Sunderland, and Burnley vs. West Ham matches will air on Premier League Extra Time. Saturday’s coverage concludes with Match of the Day at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Sunday’s coverage on NBCSN begins at 7:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by Queens Park Rangers vs. Liverpool at 8:30 a.m. ET. Coverage of Stoke City vs. Swansea City begins at 11 a.m. ET on NBCSN, immediately followed by Premier League Goal Zone.

NBC Sports Group’s Premier League lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White and analyst Lee Dixon will call Manchester City vs. Tottenham on Saturday, as well as Queens Park Rangers vs. Liverpool on Sunday.

FIGHT NIGHT

NBCSN’s Fight Night this Saturday, live at 9 p.m. ET, is highlighted by a heavyweight showdown between Steve “USS” Cunningham and new undefeated heavyweight Natu “The Truth” Visinia from 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pa.

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night team of play-by-play announcer Kenny Rice, analyst B.J. Flores and ringside reporter Chris Mannix will call the action.

 

DEW TOUR

NBC Sports Group will present six hours of coverage of the Dew Tour Toyota City Championships this weekend, featuring the world’s premier skateboard and BMX athletes. Coverage of the two-stop event begins Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC with Dew Tour: Portland. The action from Portland continues Sunday at 1 a.m. ET on NBCSN, and coverage of the Toyota City Championships wraps up with Dew Tour: Brooklyn Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Todd Harris will lead NBC and NBCSN’s coverage of the Dew Tour City Championships. Harris will be joined by Chris Miller (skateboard analyst), Jamie Bestwick (BMX analyst) and Carolyn Manno (reporter).

 

MLS

NBCSN’s coverage of Major League Soccer continues tonight when Real Salt Lake visit the Portland Timbers at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match, and is joined by former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle and host Russ Thaler.

Immediately following NBCSN’s Premier League coverage at 3 p.m. ET this Saturday, October 18, FC Dallas host the Colorado Rapids.

Colorado Rapids’ lead play-by-play commentator Richard Fleming calls the match, alongside former MLS player Brian Dunseth and CSN Houston reporter Sebastian Salazar.

 

GOLF

The 2014-15 PGA TOUR season continues this week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Weekend coverage begins tonight at 5 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Coverage of Sunday’s final round begins at 5 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Terry Gannon (play-by-play) leads Golf Channel’s team calling the action from TPC Summerlin Course in Las Vegas, Nev.  Joining Gannon will be Peter Jacobsen (analyst), Matt Gogel (tower), Peter Oosterhuis (tower), Phil Parkin and Scott McCarron (on course reporters), and Todd Lewis (interviews).

Weekend coverage of the Champions Tour Greater Hickory Kia Classic on Golf Channel begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, and continues Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Brian Hammons (play-by-play), Lanny Wadkins (analyst), Dave Marr (tower), John Mahaffey (tower), and Billy Ray Brown (on course) call the action from Rock Barn Golf & Spa.

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage of the European Tour’s Volvo World Match Play Championship begins Saturday at 6:30 a.m. ET, continues Sunday at 3 a.m. ET, and concludes with coverage of the final round Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz hosts from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando. Calling the action from London Golf Club in Kent, England is Dominik Hoyer (play by play), Tony Johnstone (analyst), Sam Torrance (analyst), and Jay Townsend and Paul Eales (on course).

The LPGA’s KEB HanaBank Championship continues tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Live coverage of the final round begins Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Lisa Cromwell hosts from the Golf Channel studios in Orlando, joined by play-by-play announcer Peter Donegan, analyst Sandy MacKenzie, and on course reporter Kate Burton.

Coverage of the Asian Tour’s Hong Kong Open on Golf Channel continues Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET, and concludes with coverage of the final round Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET.

 

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBCSN kicks off its 2014-15 college hockey coverage with a weekend series featuring the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Lake Superior State Lakers, beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET. NBCSN will air live coverage of the second game between the Fighting Irish and Lakers on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.

Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Anson Carter (analyst) will have the call from Compton Family Ice Arena in Notre Dame, Ind.
