STAMFORD, Conn. – September 30, 2014 – First-place Chelsea and forward Diego Costa, the Premier League’s leading scorer with eight goals, host unbeaten Arsenal and forward Danny Welbeck this Sunday, Oct. 5, at 9:05 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo, highlighting this weekend’s Premier League coverage. NBC Sports Group’s Premier League lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match joined by former Chelsea defender Graeme Le Saux at Stamford Bridge.

This weekend’s slate of key matches follows last Saturday’s “Double Derby Day,” which set a Premier League streaming record across NBC Sports Live Extra (7.7 million live streaming minutes) and included the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton and the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham.

Premier League coverage begins this Saturday, Oct. 4, at 9 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Liverpool and captain Steven Gerrard hosting West Bromwich Albion on NBCSN and mun2. At 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, NBC and mun2 host coverage of Aston Villa versus last season’s champions Manchester City, currently in third-place. White and Le Saux call Aston Villa-Manchester City from Villa Park.

On Sunday, coverage begins at 6 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Manchester United and British transfer record signing Angel Di Maria (a reported fee of $99m) hosting Everton and U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup goalkeeper Tim Howard on NBCSN and mun2. Last season, the Toffees came out victorious in both meetings between the two clubs, completing the league double over United for the first time in 44 years.

West Ham United host Queens Park Rangers at 11:15 a.m. ET on NBCSN, wrapping up Sunday’s match coverage.

All matches not shown on NBCSN in the Saturday 10 a.m. ET and Sunday at 9:05 a.m. ET windows will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.

This Sunday’s Goal Zone at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN will be hosted by Rebecca Lowe, joined by former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.

Following Goal Zone on Sunday is NBCSN’s live, 60-minute Match of the Day II at 1:30 p.m. ET featuring host Lowe, joined by Martino and Mustoe providing in-depth analysis, plus, post-match interviews and reactions from the day’s matches and extended highlights with match commentators.

THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW hosted by Michael Davies and Roger Bennett will air at 10 p.m. ET each Monday throughout the Premier League season.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside Martino and Mustoe.

All Premier League games will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets.
