Comcast SportsNew Mid-Atlantic kicks off its comprehensive multiplatform coverage of the Washington Redskins’ 2014 regular season this week, which is highlighted by game-day shows Redskins Kickoff, Redskins Postgame Live and #Redskins Talk, a new interactive post-game analysis program.

Complete Redskins coverage will also be provided throughout the season each weekday on Redskins Nation and Geico Football Central, the day after every game on Geico Sportsnet Central: Jay Gruden Live and weekly on 3 and Out, which will cover multiple NFL topics. Geico SportsNet Central, which airs multiple times daily, and SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell will provide full NFL news, analysis and commentary throughout the season.

Extensive digital content covering the Redskins will continue to be delivered across the Comcast SportsNet’s online, mobile and social media platforms, highlighted by CSNwashington.com and @CSNRedskins.

Redskins Game-Day Programs:

  •  Redskins Kickoff, Redskins Postgame Live – Redskins Kickoff will make its regular-season debut at 12 p.m. on Sept. 7, prior to the team’s opener at Houston and Redskins Postgame Live will start immediately after the game. Hosted by Chick Hernandez, the shows will feature analysts Brian Mitchell and Trevor Matich, Redskins television beat reporter Rob Carlin and Redskins Insider Tarik El-Bashir. The programs will surround each Redskins game this season.
  • #RedskinsTalk – #RedskinsTalk, a new interactive post-game analysis program, will be presented for a half-hour on game nights immediately following Redskins Postgame Live. Hosted by Carlin, the show will feature former Redskins Shawn Springs and Fred Smoot and will include significant fan participation through social media. #RedskinsTalk will debut Sept. 7.

Daily Redskins/NFL Programs:

  • Redskins Nation – Redskins Nation is presented year-round on weekdays at 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Hosted by Larry Michael from Redskins Park, the half-hour program includes news, features and interviews with current and former players, coaches, front office personnel and other insiders. Redskins Nation is presented as an encore multiple times daily.
  • Geico Football Central – Geico Football Central, which debuted at the start of last season, returns this week to provide Redskins and Ravens news, analysis, commentary and debate weekdays at 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. The half-hour show, which will be presented throughout the entire NFL season, will feature rotating hosts and analysts, along with reporting from team headquarters. Special fantasy football editions, led by Michael Jenkins and Antonio Freeman, will air on Fridays.

Weekly Redskins/NFL Programs:

  • Geico SportsNet Central: Jay Gruden Live – Comcast SportsNet will again provide coverage of the Redskins’ weekly head coach news conference as part of the half-hour news and analysis show Geico SportsNet Central: Jay Gruden Live. The program, which will be led by Carlin and Mitchell, will air live at 3 p.m. the day after each game, with encores at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 8.
  • 3 and Out – 3 and Out, the NBC Sports Regional Networks’ football analysis and debate show, returns this week for its second season on Comcast SportsNet. Hosted this year by Hernandez, the half-hour program provides analysis and debate from Mitchell and experts from other NFL markets across the country. 3 and Out will debut Wednesdays at 5 p.m. and will be presented as encores throughout the week, including Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m.

Daily News and Entertainment Programs:

  •  Geico SportsNet Central – Extensive Redskins coverage will be featured throughout the season on Geico SportsNet Central, the network’s daily news program. Geico SportsNet Central is presented live at 10:30 p.m. (10 p.m. on weekends) and 12:30 a.m., and as encores multiple times.
  • SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell – Now featuring Chick Hernandez as co-host, SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell presents analysis and commentary covering the Redskins, Ravens and NFL weekdays at 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. The half-hour show will also include exclusive one-on-one interviews with Jay Gruden and John Harbaugh on Mondays throughout the season.

  • CSNWashington.com – Comcast SportsNet’s digital media properties, highlighted by CSNwashington.com, will continue to feature extensive Redskins coverage, led by Redskins Insider Tarik El-Bashir and Redskins Blogger Rich Tandler.
