PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014-15 Premier League season kicks off Saturday at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live followed by Manchester United vs. Swansea City on NBCSN. Saturday’s action continues at 10 a.m. ET with Leicester City v. Everton on NBCSN, and Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Match of the Day begins at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s Premier League action begins at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Download on NBCSN followed by Premier League Live at 7:30 a.m. ET. Sunday’s matchups on NBCSN include Liverpool vs. Southampton at 830 a.m. ET and Newcastle vs. Manchester City at 11 a.m. ET.

Premier League Goal Zone begins Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN and features Men in Blazers’ Michael Davies and Roger Bennett making their NBC Sports Group debut. Match of the Day begins at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, culminating the weekend’s Premier League coverage.

Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.

NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White will be joined by Lee Dixon to call Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace. White will be joined by Graeme Le Saux to call Sunday’s Liverpool vs. Southampton match at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

Calling the weekend’s other matches will be Peter Drury and Jim Beglin (Manchester United v. Swansea City), Daniel Mann and Trevor Francis (Leicester v. Everton), and Jon Champion and David Pleat (Newcastle v. Manchester City).

 

GOLF

Golf Channel’s coverage of the PGA Tour’s Wyndam Championship continues today at 3 p.m. ET. Weekend coverage begins Saturday with the third round at 1 p.m. ET, and culminates with Sunday’s final round at 1 p.m. ET.

Whit Watson (play-by-play) leads Golf Channel’s team from the Sedgefield Country Club.  Joining Watson will be Frank Nobilo (analyst), Peter Oosterhuis (tower), Peter Kostis (tower), Phil Parkin (on course), Scott McCarron (on course), and Todd Lewis (interviews).

The Wegmans LPGA Championship continues Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.  Sunday’s final round coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Golf Channel’s team of Terry Gannon (play-by-play), Judy Rankin (analyst), Jerry Foltz (on course), Karen Stupples (on course) and Tom Abbott (tower) call the action from Monroe Golf Club.

The U.S. Amateur continues Saturday on NBC at 4 p.m. ET, and culminates with the final match Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.

Golf Channel’s Dan Hicks calls the action from Atlanta Athletic Club.  Joining Hicks will be analysts Gary Koch and Steve Burkowski, as well as on course reporters Roger Maltbie and Notah Begay.

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage of the European Tour’s inaugural Made in Denmark begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET, and culminates with the final round Sunday at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz will host from the studio in Orlando.  Joining Ritz will be Dominik Hoyer (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys (analyst) and Jay Townsend (on course).

 

MOTORSPORTS

NBC Sports Group presents more than 30 hours of motorsports this weekend, beginning tonight at 5:30 p.m. ET with Mecum Auctions Monterey. The action from the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel continues Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Scott Hoke will host NBCSN’s Mecum Auctions coverage on-site, alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and Bill Stephens.

NBCSN’s coverage of the IndyCar ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at the Milwaukee Mile begins Saturday coverage of the qualifying races at 8 p.m. ET. Live race coverage begins Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the Indy Lights Milwaukee race at 6 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead motorsports voice Leigh Diffey will call the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 from West Allis, Wisc., alongside analysts Townsend Bell and David Hobbs. Reporters Marty Snider, Kelli Stavast, Kevin Lee, and Robin Miller will report from the pits. Lee will be joined by Anders Krohn and Jake Query to call the Indy Lights Milwaukee race.

NBC Sports Group presents six hours of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Indiana National across NBCSN and NBC Live Extra this weekend. On-air coverage begins Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Calling the action from Indiana National will be Jason Weigandt (play-by-play), Grant Langston (analyst) and Georgia Lindsay (pit reporter).

 

ACTION SPORTS

NBC’s coverage of the 2014 Red Bull Signature Series Mavericks Invitational airs Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Sal Masekela leads the team calling the action from Half Moon Bay, Calif. Joining Masekela will be Todd Harris, Mike Parsons and Corbin Harris.

 

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

NBCSN presents two Major League Soccer games this weekend beginning tonight at 9 p.m. ET, when the Houston Dynamo host the Philadelphia Union, and continuing this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET with Real Salt Lake hosting the Seattle Sounders.

Philadelphia Union’s lead play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera will call Houston Dynamo vs Philadelphia Union. Joining Strong will be former Dynamo defender Eddie Robinson and Sebastian Salazar from BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.

NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer John Strong calls Real Salt Lake vs Seattle Sounders, and will be joined by former MLS player Brian Dunseth and host Russ Thaler.

 

YOUTH OLYMPICS

NBC Olympics and Universal Sports Network will combine to present 54.5 hours of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games from Nanjing, China. Coverage begins Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with the Opening Ceremony. NBC will air an hour-long presentation highlighting the opening ceremony and swimming at 3 p.m. ET Sunday, and coverage from Nanjing will continue on NBCSN at 8 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s coverage of the Opening Ceremony will be hosted by Josh Elliott and Mary Carillo. Elliott will also serve as a studio host throughout the Youth Olympic Games.

 

SUNDAY SPORTS REPORT

NBC Sports Group will debut NBCSN Sunday Sports Report, a weekly one-hour program that will showcase the news and highlights of the sports properties that primarily air on NBC and NBCSN, this Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Host Liam McHugh will recap this week’s top events, including the opening weekend of the Premier League season, the latest NFL headlines, the NASCAR Michigan 400, and the start of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
