Coverage Debuts Saturday, August 16 at 7 AM ET on NBCSN with Manchester United v. Swansea City

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 12, 2014 – NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014-15 Premier League season kicks off four days from today, on Saturday, August 16. Coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Manchester United v. Swansea City and continues throughout the season on the networks of NBCUniversal, on the Premier League Extra Time bonus TV package, and streamed live on NBC Sports Live Extra.

PREMIER LEAGUE NUMBER OF THE DAY: 4

The Premier League trophy has been passed across the city of Manchester for 4 straight seasons. (Manchester United crowned champions in 2010-11 and 2012-13; Manchester City in 2011-12 and 2013-14). Plus, Man City’s Etihad Stadium sits just 4 miles from Old Trafford, where Manchester United have played home matches for over a century.

NBC Sports Group will once again make all 380 games from the Premier League available in the United States. All games will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.

West Ham v. Tottenham Hotspur LIVE in Theaters at 10 a.m. ET Saturday, August 16

Soccer fans will get a chance to witness the world’s best soccer on the big screen as Fathom Events and NBC Sports Group team up to present Barclays Premier League LIVE” this season, beginning this Saturday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. ET with West Ham v. Tottenham Hotspur.

“Barclays Premier League LIVE” will continue each Saturday throughout the season, with each week’s game announced the Tuesday before.  Fans are encouraged to check FathomEvents.com to see which game is being featured. Adding to the experience for theater attendees will be specially produced half-time breaks showcasing the BPL’s greatest players, interviews, analysis and “theater-only” insights live from England.
