MOTORSPORTS

NBC Sports Group’s weekend motorsports coverage begins tonight at 5 p.m. ET with NASCAR America on NBCSN.

Rick Allen and Kyle Petty host NASCAR America from the studio in Stamford, Conn.

NBC Sports Group presents five hours of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Unadilla National this weekend beginning Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage continues at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Jason Weigandt (play-by-play) leads the team calling the action from  Unadilla National in New Berlin, N.Y. Joining Weigandt will be Grant Langston (analyst) and Georgia Lindsay (pit reporter).

Red Bull Signature Series’ TORC returns to NBCSN Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Tes Sewell leads the team calling the action from Sturgis Blue Chip. Joining Sewell will be Grant Langston, Cristy Lee and Tony Bokhoven.

 

PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Golf Channel’s coverage of the 2014 PGA Championship continues tonight at 7 p.m. ET with Golf Central’s Live From the PGA Championship. Live From presents wraparound news programming, featuring comprehensive insight, analysis, breaking news and exclusive features from Valhalla Golf Club. Live From continues Saturday at 8 a.m. ET and 7 p.m. ET, and culminates with final round coverage Sunday at 8 a.m. ET and 7 p.m. ET.

Kelly Tilghman, Ryan Burr and Rich Lerner anchor Golf Channel’s Live From the PGA Championship. Joining them will be analysts Notah Begay, Brandel Chamblee, David Feherty, Steve Flesch, Arron Oberholser and Mark Rolfing, as well as reporters Todd Lewis and Steve Sands. John Feinstein, Rex Hoggard, Tim Rosaforte and Ken Schofield will also contribute daily.

 

SOCCER

NBCSN’s weekend soccer coverage kicks off tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET with Premier League Countdown immediately followed by LA Galaxy hosting San Jose Earthquakes in the Californa Clasico at 10:30 p.m. ET. Soccer continues Sunday at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with live coverage of the International Friendly matchup between Liverpool, last season’s Premier League runners-up, and Borussia Dortmund, last season’s Bundesliga runners-up.

Friday’s Premier League Countdown will preview the upcoming Premier League season, which kicks off Saturday, August 16 on NBCSN. Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Countdown and will be joined by former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe and former Jamaican national team player Robbie Earle.

NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer John Strong will call the LA Galaxy vs San Jose Earthquakes match, and will be joined by Stuart Holden (analyst) and Russ Thaler (host).

 

US SWIMMING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

NBC Sports Group’s week long coverage of USA Swimming’s Phillips 66 National Championships continues Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC. The action from Irvine, Calif. continues Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC, and concludes Sunday at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Todd Harris, Rowdy Gaines, and Carolyn Manno cover the meet in Irvine.

 

BOXING

NBCSN features a special live tripleheader during Fight Night on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET from Sands Casino Hotel in Bethlehem, PA. The main event features undefeated Ukrainian sensation Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov against New York native Derric Rossy in ten rounds of heavyweight action.

NBC Sports Group’s Fight Night broadcast team of Kenny Rice (play-by-play), B.J. Flores (analyst), and Chris Mannix (reporter) call the action.

 

MMA

After making its broadcast debut on NBC, World Series of Fighting returns to NBCSN this Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, highlighted by the lightweight fight between knockout specialist Luis “Baboon” Palomino (22-9, 12 wins by knockout) and undefeated rising star Lewis Gonzalez (9-0).

Mike Corey (play-by-play) leads the team calling the action from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. Joining Corey will be analysts Bas Rutten and Joey Varner.
