STAMFORD, Conn. – May 27, 2014Martin St. Louis and the New York Rangers can clinch a Stanley Cup Final berth tonight with a win in Montreal, and Jonathan Quick and the Los Angeles Kings can punch their ticket to the Final with a win in Chicago tomorrow, as NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Conference Finals continues this week on NBCSN.

The puck drops tonight at 8 p.m. ET with Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Rangers and Montreal Canadiens, as New York looks to advance to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 20 years. Coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live hosted by Liam McHugh, alongside former NHL players and analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.

The Rangers moved within one win of the Stanley Cup Final with a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory on Sunday night to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in the Eastern Conference Final. Montreal’s P.K. Subban’s power play goal early in the third period beat Henrik Lundqvist to even the score at two and eventually sent the game to overtime. At 6:02 of the extra session, St. Louis rifled a wrist shot over Canadiens rookie goaltender Dustin Tokarski to send the Madison Square Garden faithful into a frenzy, and push the Canadiens to the brink of elimination.

A win tonight would send the Rangers to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1994, when they defeated the Vancouver Canucks in seven games for their first Stanley Cup win in 54 years.

Emmy Award-winning play-by-play voice Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning “Inside the Glass” analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

GAME 5 – BLACKHAWKS-KINGS WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL – TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – KINGS LEAD 3-1

Coverage of the Western Conference Final continues on NBCSN tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET, when the Los Angeles Kings look to advance to their second Stanley Cup Final in three years and dethrone the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks with a win in Game 5 in Chicago. The Kings have outscored the Blackhawks 15-5 since the waning moments of the second period in Game 2, when Los Angeles’ Justin Williams scored the first of six consecutive Kings’ goals in a 6-2 win, followed by convincing victories at STAPLES Center in Games 3 and 4.

The Blackhawks will look to draw upon memories from the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs, when they faced a 3-1 series deficit to the Detroit Red Wings in the second round, before winning three straight games, en route to the Stanley Cup title.

Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Joe Micheletti (analyst), and Brian Engblom (“Inside the Glass” analyst) will have the call from United Center in Chicago, Ill. tomorrow night.
