Stamford, Conn. – April 8, 2014 – First-place Liverpool and league leading scorer Luis Suárez host third-place Manchester City Sunday at 8:37 a.m. ET on NBCSN, highlighting NBC Sports Group’s continuing Premier League coverage this weekend. U.S. Men’s National Team and Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard, coming off of a 3-0 win against Arsenal this past Sunday, returns to the booth after Everton face Sunderland on Saturday (10:07 a.m. ET, Extra Time) alongside lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White for the call.

NBCSN surrounds the Liverpool-Manchester City match with a live on-site studio at Anfield featuring legendary U.K. footballer and BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker and former Liverpool and Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann as part of Premier League Live studio coverage beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET. Host Rebecca Lowe, former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe, and former Jamaican National Team player Robbie Earle will provide analysis from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.

Leading into the Liverpool-Manchester City match, NBCSN will cover the on-site tributes at Anfield in observance of the 25th Anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster including full coverage of Liverpool’s anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” All Premier League matches this weekend will begin at 7 minutes past regular kickoff time as a tribute.

NBCSN’s weekend coverage begins at 9 a.m. Saturday with Premier League Live followed by Fulham v. Norwich City at 10:07 a.m. ET on NBCSN. All matches not shown on NBCSN in the Saturday 10 a.m. ET window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.

In addition to Liverpool-Manchester City on Sunday, NBCSN hosts coverage of Swansea City v. second-place Chelsea at 11:07 a.m. ET.

This Sunday’s live, 60-minute Match of the Day at 1:30 p.m. ET features hostLowe, alongside Mustoe and Earle,providing in-depth analysis, post-match interviews and reaction, plus extended highlights with the match commentators.

Premier League coverage continues next Tuesday, April 15 at 2:45 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Arsenal host West Ham United. NBCSN will also feature Manchester City v. Sunderland at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16. Premier League Extra Time will host coverage of Wednesday’s Everton v. Crystal Palace match at 2:45 p.m. ET.

All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside Mustoe and Earle.

U.S. WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM

Olympic gold medalists Abby Wambach and Hope Solo take the field on Thursday when the U.S. Women’s National Team faces off against China at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN. NBC Sports Group’s play-by-play announcer John Strong will call the action alongside former Olympian and USWNT defender Kate Markgraf and Comcast SportsNet reporter Sebastian Salazar from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif.

All Premier League games will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets. Games airing on NBC Sports Network will be live streamed via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

To date, AT&T U-verse®, Bright House Networks, Cablevision’s Optimum, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Cox, DIRECTV, Mediacom, Suddenlink, and Time Warner Cable have opted to carry the additional Premier League matches via the Premier League Extra Time package, and AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum, Charter, Comcast’s Xfinity TV, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH, Suddenlink and Verizon FiOS will make all Premier League games available through TV Everywhere. Additionally, over 100 NCTC partners have either signed-on to the Premier League Extra Time package or have opted-in via TV Everywhere, including Blue Ridge Communications, Buckeye CableSystem, CenturyLink Prism, and RCN. In some cases, the Premier League Extra Time package will be available in select markets.
