COMCAST SPORTSNET SET TO BEGIN UNPRECEDENTED FIVE WEEK TELECAST SCHEDULE – 97 LIVE GAMES AND 150+ HOURS OF LIVE SPORTS NEWS AND ANALYSIS PROGRAMMING

Giants, Athletics, Warriors, Kings, Sharks, Earthquakes, SaberCats and CIF High School Basketball
and Over 150 Hours of Sports News and Analysis Programming in Just Five Weeks
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 24, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet (@CSNAuthentic), the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” is set to deliver the most anticipated and thrilling days on the sports calendar in a span of just five weeks, with 97 live game telecasts – featuring the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Earthquakes, San Jose SaberCats and CIF Boys and Girls High School Basketball Championships – and over 150 hours of live sports news and analysis programming.
Beginning today and over the next five weeks, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Comcast SportsNet California will televise 97 live games, which include 25 Giants, 26 A’s, 11 Warriors, nine Kings, seven Sharks, four Earthquakes, three SaberCats games and 12 CIF Boys and Girls Basketball Championship games. The networks expect to add more game telecasts to the schedule during the NBA and NHL playoffs. Plus, Comcast SportsNet will air 290 live studio shows – with more than 150 hours of programming – with SportsNet Central, Yahoo SportsTalk Live, Pregame Live and Postgame Live.
