Stamford, Conn, – February 19, 2014 – NBC’s primetime coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games tomorrow, Thursday, February 20 at 8/7c is highlighted by the free program in ladies’ figure skating, which combined with the short program score determines the Olympic champion. U.S. champion Gracie Gold currently sits in fourth place after the short program behind 2010 Olympic gold medalist Yuna Kim of South Korea in first. The program also features 15-year old Yulia Lipnitskaya, who helped lead Russia to gold with a top performance in the team event, and two-time U.S. national champion Ashley Wagner. All four women will be skating in the night’s final group. Also in primetime is the women’s ski halfpipe gold medal final, where U.S. has a deep team of competitors, led by 20-year-old Maddie Bowman, while 2013 world bronze medalist John Teller will compete in the men’s ski cross gold medal final on Thursday.

NBC’s programming on Thursday is also highlighted by the gold medal final in women’s hockey featuring Team USA vs. Canada live across all time zones at Noon ET (9 a.m. PT). This will be the second meeting between USA and Canada in the 2014 Olympic women’s hockey tournament. Canada won the prior game 3-2 in the preliminary round. The two countries have combined to win all four gold medals in Olympic women’s hockey history, with Canada claiming three straight since the U.S. won the inaugural Olympic women’s tournament in 1998.

NBCSN’s live coverage on Thursday begins at 3 a.m. ET and includes the gold medal final in ladies’ figure skating, the live bronze medal women’s curling match featuring Great Britain vs. Switzerland, and live bronze medal women’s hockey game featuring Switzerland vs. Sweden. In addition, NBCSN’s coverage on Thursday includes the team K-125 large hill gold medal final in nordic combined.

On CNBC at 5 p.m. ET, either Sweden or Canada will become the first curling champion of the Sochi Games as they face off in the gold medal final in women’s curling.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21

NBC’s primetime coverage on Friday, February 21, is highlighted by the women’s slalom gold medal final where 18-year-old phenom Mikaela Shiffrin, the reigning world and World Cup champion in slalom, takes to the Sochi course for her signature event. In men’s short track, two-time Olympic medalist J.R. Celski, could have a chance to skate for a medal in both the 500m and 5000m relay. He is the world record holder in the 500m and will anchor the U.S. relay, which is ranked No. 1 in the world. Also in short track is the women’s 1000m, with the team pursuit in men’s speed skating rounding out primetime on NBC Friday.

NBCSN will feature two live men’s hockey semifinal games on Friday, as Team USA will meet Canada in a rematch of the 2010 gold medal final with coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET, and Finland faces Sweden after beating the Russian team 3-1 in the quarterfinals with coverage beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET. In addition, NBCSN will feature the live bronze medal match in men’s curling with China vs. Sweden, and the ski cross gold medal final in women’s freestyle skiing.

CNBC will host live coverage of Canada vs. Great Britain, with the winner taking home the gold medal in men’s curling.
