NOELLE PIKUS-PACE FEATURE AIRS TONIGHT ON NBC’S OLYMPIC PRIMETIME SHOW

Noelle Pikus-Pace, one of the best skeleton riders in the world and who is in second place in Sochi after the first two runs, retired immediately after the 2010 Vancouver Olympics because she wanted to spend more time with her family. But after suffering a miscarriage two years later, she decided that she needed the sport back in her life in order to cope with the loss. She came out of retirement under one condition, however. She would only compete again if her family traveled by her side. Pikus-Pace arrived in Sochi with her own personal cheering section – husband Janson and kids Lacee and Traycen – making the Olympics a family affair.
