NBC SPORTS GROUP TO AIR THREE MLS CUP PLAYOFF CONFERENCE SEMIFINAL MATCHES THIS WEEKEND

NBCSN to Air Doubleheader Saturday Featuring New England Revolution v. Sporting Kansas City at 8 p.m. ET, Followed by Seattle or Colorado v. Portland at 10 p.m. ET

NBC to Air Eastern Conference Semifinal Game Sunday as the New York Red Bulls Face Houston or Montreal at 3:30 p.m. ET

Stamford, Conn. – October 30, 2013 – NBC Sports Group presents three MLS Cup Playoff Conference Semifinal matches this weekend. Conference Semifinals coverage begins Saturday on NBCSN at 8 p.m. ET as the New England Revolution host Sporting Kansas City in the first game of a two-game series, followed by the Portland Timbers traveling to face the winner of the Western Conference Knockout Round (Seattle Sounders FC or Colorado Rapids) at 10 p.m. ET. Coverage continues on NBC Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET when the New York Red Bulls take on the winner of the Eastern Conference Knockout Round (Houston Dynamo or Montreal Impact).

The Conference Semifinals are a two-game series with home-and-away games and an aggregate-goal format. The team that scores the most goals in the home-and-away series advances to the Conference Finals.

COMMENTATORS: NBC Sports Group’s lead soccer play-by-play announcer Arlo White will call NBC’s match on Sunday. White will be joined by former U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder and analyst Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler. NBC Sports Group’s MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong will call NBCSN’s 10 p.m. ET match on Saturday and will be joined by Brian Dunseth.

For the New England Revolution-Sporting Kansas City match, NBCSN will simulcast the local feed from ComcastSportsNet New England, an NBC Sports Regional Network. The Revolution-Sporting KC game is subject to local blackouts.
