NBCSN TO AIR FIVE BIG TEN HOCKEY GAMES THIS SEASON

No. 3 Wisconsin, No. 5 Minnesota, No. 10 Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State, Ohio State to Appear 

NBCSN’s Live Coverage of Big Ten Hockey’s Inaugural Season Begins on December 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET with Colorado College at No. 3 Wisconsin

Stamford, Conn. – October 9, 2013 – NBC Sports Group and the Big Ten Conference will collaborate to present five Big Ten hockey games this season on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra. NBCSN’s coverage of Big Ten hockey will feature all six member schools with hockey programs.  No. 3 Wisconsin will appear three times and Penn State will appear twice. No. 5 Minnesota, No. 10 Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State will also play games on NBCSN.

The network’s coverage of Big Ten hockey’s inaugural season begins on Friday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET when Wisconsin hosts Colorado College at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.

NBCSN’s 2013-14 Big Ten hockey schedule includes Penn State-Michigan State on Saturday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. ET, Wisconsin-Michigan on Saturday, February 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET, Wisconsin-Ohio State on Saturday, February 15 at 8 p.m. ET, and Penn State-Minnesota on Saturday, March 1.

NBC SPORTS LIVE EXTRA 

NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets, will stream all Big Ten hockey games telecast on NBCSN. All games will be live streamed via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

For desktops, NBC Sports Live Extra can be accessed at NBCSports.com/liveextra. The NBC Sports Live Extra app for mobile devices and tablets is available at the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and on select Android handset and tablet devices within Google Play.

NBCSN will live stream to PCs, mobile devices and tablets through NBC Sports Live Extra, and to the digital platforms of participating cable, satellite, and telco services, via “TV Everywhere,” which is available on an authenticated basis to subscribers of participating MVPDs.
