COMCAST SPORTSNET HOSTS WE LIVE PHILLY SPORTS FESTIVAL ON SEPTEMBER 29th AT XFINITY LIVE!

Brad Lidge, Brian Westbrook, Rick Tocchet and World B. Free Highlight Free Autograph Session for Fans 

Family Friendly Event Runs from Noon until 3 p.m. Rain or Shine

PHILADELPHIA, PA (September 24, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet will host the second annual We Live Philly Sports Festival on Sunday, September 29 at XFINITY Live! in South Philadelphia.  The family friendly event runs from Noon until 3 p.m. and features autographs from four Philly sports legends, food and drink specials, appearances by team mascots, cheerleaders, dance team members and face painters. The first 1000 fans will also receive a special limited edition “We Live Philly Sports” festival t-shirt. Free parking will be available until 2 p.m.

The We Live Philly Sports Festival features an autograph signing by four former Philly athletes including Phillies pitcher Brad Lidge, Philadelphia Eagle running back Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia Flyer winger Rick Tocchet and Philadelphia 76ers community ambassador World B. Free. The first 200 people in line will receive an autograph from all of the athletes. (Comcast SportsNet will provide an item for signing. No personal items will be permitted.)

Comcast SportsNet and CSNPhilly.com personalities will be on hand to meet with fans including Michael Barkann, Neil Hartman, Amy Fadool, Marshall Harris, John Boruk, Danny Pommells, John Gonzalez, Ray Didinger, Tim Panaccio, Steve Coates, Ricky Bottalico, Ben Davis, Sarah Baicker and many others.

Everyone who attends the We Live Philly Sports Festival will be registered to win the Ultimate Philly Sports Ticket package which includes four tickets to all of Comcast SportsNet’s pro team partners including Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, Sixers, Union, Wings, plus basketball and football tickets for Villanova, Temple and Penn, and basketball tickets from LaSalle, Saint Joseph’s, and Drexel. Registration will take place at the event, with the winner announced at 2:30 p.m.  Winner must be in attendance.

The Phillie Phanatic and ballgirls will also be on hand to entertain fans, as will Eagles Cheerleaders, SWOOP and Drumline.  The Philadelphia Flyers and Union will also have team inflatables and giveaways, and the Sixers Dream Team and Flight Squad will be available for photographs.

Fans in attendance can also check out the XFINITY mobile vehicle and test drive the latest XFINITY products, including TV, Internet, and the latest apps available to XFINITY subscribers.

XFINITY Live! will be showing the Phillies vs. Braves game at 1:30 p.m. and the Eagles vs. Broncos game at 4:30 p.m. on the big screen for fans to stay on top of all the action during the event.

All fans attending the We Live Philly Sports Festival must enter through the Southwest entrance (facing the Wells Fargo Center) of XFINITY LIVE!.  This is a free event and is open to the public.
