Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network To Air Villanova, Delaware, Princeton, Shippensburg and Bloomsburg Football Games

Slate of 30 NCAA Games and 8 Local High School Games Highlight 2013 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA- (September 6, 2012) – Comcast SportsNet, together with The Comcast Network, provides college and local high school football fans with the most comprehensive local and national football coverage by airing 30 NCAA and eight local high school football games, plus weekly college football shows.

The CAA preseason favorite, Villanova Wildcats have three conference matchups air during the season, while the #6 ranked-team the Delaware Blue Hens have four games featured. Other local teams featured are the Shippensburg Red Raiders vs. the Bloomsburg Huskies on Thursday, October 31 at 8 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network College Football Schedule:

In addition to live game coverage, Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will air magazine shows from Penn State, Temple University, Rutgers and Notre Dame.  “Penn State Football: The Next Chapter” will air Thursdays at 11 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. “Temple Football: Inside the Owls’ Next” will air most Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. “Inside Rutgers Football” will air on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. on The Comcast Network and “Inside Notre Dame Football” will air on Wednesdays at 6 p.m., also on the Comcast Network.

Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will also air “NBC10 High School Blitz” program hosted by John Clark and Jillian Mele.  This high school football show will celebrate the intense rivalries and passionate fans of high school football, and will include extensive highlights and scores from Friday and Saturday games across the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware viewing area.  “High School Blitz” will air on The Comcast Network on Mondays at 6 p.m. and on Comcast SportsNet on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.  The program will also be available through XFINITY On Demand under the Get Local/Sports/NBC10 Sports.
