NBC Sports Radio TOPS 300 STATIONS NATIONWIDE

Dial Global and NBC Sports Group Add More Affiliates to Meet Increasing Demand for Premier Audio Sports Programming

NEW YORK, NY, August 1, 2013  – NBC Sports Radio, a joint venture between Dial Global and NBC Sports Group, is celebrating a major milestone today as the network announces it has passed the 300 station mark.  A total of 303 stations are now airing NBC Sports Radio programming.

Among the new stations recently added to NBC Sports Radio’s lineup are Tyler Media’s KRXO-FM, Oklahoma City, OK; Entercom’s WDMT-FM, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA; and Townsquare’s KROD-AM, El Paso, TX.  The network also recently announced the addition of WCAR, Detroit, MI.

NBC Sports Radio features an array of fresh, passionate sports talk personalities, experts and former players and coaches including:

  • Hosts: Erik Kuselias, Brian Kenny, Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, and Dan Schwartzman
  • NFL: Donovan McNabb, Amani Toomer, Mark Malone, Hines Ward, and Rodney Harrison
  • MLB: Bobby Valentine and Chipper Jones
  • NBA: Stan Van Gundy

NBC Sports Radio launched in September, 2012.  It is produced by NBC Sports Group and distributed by Dial Global.  Programming is available on radio affiliates throughout the United States, as well as on NBCSportsRadio.com, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports Radio mobile app, and on the websites of affiliates.
