SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 16, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet (@CSNAuthentic), the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” will provide its viewers with a special encore presentation featuring two of the Bay Area’s most memorable pitching performances: San Francisco Giants two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum’s no-hitter from last Saturday and former Oakland A’s pitcher Dallas Braden’s 2010 perfect game.

Fans can relive these historic moments in Giants and A’s franchise history on Thursday, July 18 with a replay of Lincecum’s no-hitter on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area at 7:30 p.m. and Braden’s perfect game at 7 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet California.

During Lincecum’s no-hitter against the San Diego Padres, he threw a career-high 148 pitches and struck out 13 batters, the second-highest strike-out total in his career. Lincecum’s no-hitter was the first ever thrown at PetcoPark and the 15th no-hitter in Giants franchise history.  On May 9, 2010, Braden pitched a perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays.  At the time, it was the 19th perfect game in MLB history, the second perfect game in A’s franchise history and the first no-hitter since Dave Stewart’s against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 29, 1990.
