MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group presents more than 21 hours of motorsports coverage this weekend highlighted by the Formula One British Grand Prix live at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC from Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. NBC Sports Network’s coverage from England continues with qualifying this Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

In addition to Formula One coverage, NBC Sports Network will air the Iowa Speedway Indy Lights tonight at 11 p.m. ET and AMA Motocross this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call the race and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from Silverstone Circuit in England.

Indy Lights coverage will be hosted by Mike KingDavey Hamilton and Jake Query. AMA Motocross coverage will be hosted by Jeff WeigandtJeff Emig and Kelli Stavast.

TOUR DE FRANCE

Live coverage starts tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with Stage 1 from Porto-Vecchio to Bastia. Saturday’s coverage continues at 8 p.m. ET with NBC Sports Network’s nightly Tour Primetime.

Sunday’s live coverage begins on NBC Sports Network at 7:30 a.m. ET with Stage 2 from Bastia to Ajaccio, followed by encore coverage on NBC at 12:30 p.m. and Tour Primetime on NBC Sports Network at 8 p.m. ET.

For the first time, NBC Sports Group’s coverage will feature reporting from the road via ‘Inside-the-Race’ correspondent Steve Porino. Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen, the voices of cycling, will call the race action for the live shows with reporters Steve Schlanger and Carolyn MannoTodd Harris will host nightly studio coverage with analysts Bob Roll and Scott Moninger.

U.S. SWIMMING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

NBC Sports Group will air coverage of USA Swimming’s Phillips 66 National Championships Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and continuing at 11 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Ted Robinson, Rowdy Gaines and Alex Flanagan will call the action from Indianapolis, Ind.

U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN

NBC coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30. Hall-of-Famer and three-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Annika Sorenstam will join GOLF CHANNEL ON NBC’s play-by-play commentator Dan Hicks and analyst Gary Koch in the main booth for NBC’s weekend coverage.  Sorenstam also will serve as a guest analyst for GOLF CENTRAL throughout the week on Golf Channel.

Host Dan Hicks will also be joined by Annika Sorenstam and analyst Gary Koch in the 18th tower.  Tom Abbott will be in an outer tower position and responsible for player interviews.  Walking with the players and reporting from the golf course will be Roger Maltbie, Kay Cockerill and Jane Crafter.

MLS: DALLAS AT PHILADELPHIA

NBC Sports Network’s Major League Soccer coverage this weekend features the Philadelphia Union (7-5-4, 25 pts.) hosting FC Dallas (8-3-5, 29 pts.).Coverage begins at 5:30 p.m. ET this Saturday.

NBC Sports Group’s MLS announce team of Arlo White (play-by-play), Kyle Martino (‘Between-the-Benches’) and Russ Thaler (analyst) will host coverage from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

NHL DRAFT

NBC Sports Network presents the 2013 NHL Draft in its entirety live on Sunday, June 30, at 3 p.m. ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
