NICK ZACCARDI JOINS NBCOLYMPICS.COM AS FEATURED OLYMPICTALK WRITER
STAMFORD, Conn. – June 27, 2013 – Former SI.com writer Nick Zaccardi has joined NBCOlympics.com as the lead writer for OlympicTalk in advance of the site’s coverage of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. NBC has the U.S. media rights to all Olympic Games from 2014-2020.
OlympicTalk is an extension of NBCSports.com’s SportsTalk strategy, which provides fans with quick, frequently-updated news and information with a unique perspective. Zaccardi, who will cover the Sochi Olympics on-site in Russia, wrote his first posts for OlympicTalk this week http://olympictalk.nbcsports.com/.

A University of Florida graduate, Zaccardi comes to NBC Sports Group following stints with SI.com, MLB.com, and PGATour.com. He has also covered college football and basketball national championship teams, the NHL Winter Classic, the Kentucky Derby, a Champions League final and Grand Slam tennis.
