THE ‘LIGHTS

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBC Sports Network will resume Friday Night Ice, its college hockey programming, with No. 4 Maine at New Hampshire at 7:30 p.m. ET, live from Whittemore Center in Durham, New Hampshire. John Walton will serve as play-by-play announcer alongside ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Ken Hodge.

WGC-Cadillac Championship

NBC Sports Group’s tournament coverage of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami this weekend will feature Spotlight coverage at TPC Blue Monster at Trump Doral with live action of players navigating the three finishing holes, including the toughest finishing hole on the PGA TOUR – the famous par-4 18th hole – complementing traditional coverage that also will air live on NBC.

Golf Channel’s lead-in coverage begins at Noon ET on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday followed by coverage on NBC at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. NBC’s production, which will be overseen by Emmy Award-winning producer Tommy Roy, will operate side-by-side with Golf Channel’s Spotlight production unit led by producer Keith Hirshland.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBC Sports Network’s college basketball tripleheader begins on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET, when No. 16 Saint Louis hosts La Salle in a key A-10 contest at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Mo. Mike Corey and Dave Kaplan will have the call.

At 3:30 p.m. ET, in an important Mountain West matchup, San Diego State takes on Boise State at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Idaho. Play-by-play commentator Paul Burmeister will call the action with analyst Blaine Fowler.

Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. ET, Harvard looks to regain first place in the Ivy League and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, when the Crimson host Cornell at Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, Mass. Randy Moss will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Dalen Cuff.

Coverage of the 2013 CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will tip off this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET from Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Va.

Coverage begins with game one of the conference semifinals, when the No. 1 seed in the tournament will face off against the winner of the play-in game between the No. 4 seed and No. 5 seed. CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament action continues Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET, with game two of the conference semifinals, matching the winner of No. 2 vs. No. 7 against the winner of No. 3 vs. No. 6. Veteran play-by-play announcer Todd Harris and analyst Ron Thompson will call both semifinal matchups. Mike Corey will serve as the courtside reporter.

Monday night at 7 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Network will telecast the CAA Conference Championship. Harris and Thompson will call the action for the game, with the winner of the contest receiving an automatic invite to the NCAA Tournament.

NHL

NBC and NBC Sports Network’s NHL coverage will continue on Sun., Mar. 10 with the N.Y. Rangers facing off against the Washington Capitals at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by the Buffalo Sabres against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’) will call the action in Washington, D.C., while Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will call Sunday night’s coverage.
