RAVENS KICKOFF AND RAVENS POSTGAME LIVE TO PROVIDE NEWS, ANALYSIS AND INTERVIEWS BEFORE AND AFTER THE GAME ON SUNDAY, FEB. 3

Bethesda, Md. (Jan. 24, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, the official sports network of the Baltimore Ravens, will be in New Orleans to provide the region’s most comprehensive multiplatform coverage of the Ravens throughout the week leading up to the team’s historic appearance in Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 3. The network’s week of unrivaled coverage of the Ravens, which begins Jan. 28, will feature more than 22 hours of live programming and extensive online content led by an expert team of reporters, analysts and insiders on location at the Super Bowl.

Comcast SportsNet’s Super Bowl week Ravens coverage is highlighted by RAVENS Showdown on the Bayou, a daily special hosted by Chris Miller and Brad Jackson from the network’s set in New Orleans, beginning Jan. 28. The half-hour show will provide news, features and interviews from the network’s on-site reporters, including Brent Harris and Rob Carlin. Several high-profile guests will also make appearances, including former Ravens Qadry Ismail and Jonathan Ogden. The program will debut weekdays at 5:30 p.m., with encores at 11:30 p.m., with the exception of Wednesday (12:30 a.m.) An expanded 90-minute edition of RAVENS Showdown on the Bayou will air Feb. 2 at 11:30 p.m. and Feb. 3 at 9 a.m.

Comcast SportsNet’s daily talk and entertainment show, SportsTalk Live, will be led from New Orleans by a pair of Super Bowl champions, Brian Mitchell and guest co-host Brad Jackson, who was a member of the Ravens’ championship team in 2001. The special editions of SportsTalk Live, which begin Jan. 28, will feature special guests, opinionated commentary, in-depth analysis and lively debate covering the Ravens and 49ers each weeknight. The show will debut at 10:30 p.m. with an encore at 12:30 a.m., except for Wednesday (11:30 p.m.) SportsTalk Live will also be presented as encores each morning.

Geico SportsNet Central, the network’s marquee daily news program, will provide the region’s most extensive Ravens news coverage leading up to and surrounding the Super Bowl. Each edition of Geico SportsNet Central, which airs multiple times daily, will include extensive live reports from the network’s roster of veteran reporters and analysts in New Orleans from Jan. 28 to Feb. 3. The expanded Super Bowl coverage will also include contributions by experts from other NBC Sports Regional Networks, including Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the official cable television home of the 49ers. Geico SportsNet Central airs live most nights at 6 p.m., 10 p.m., 12 a.m. and 1 a.m., with encores each morning.

Extensive written, video and interactive content covering the Ravens will continue to be available across Comcast SportsNet’s digital media platforms, highlighted by CSNbaltimore.com. Led by Ravens Insider J. Michael – who will also contribute to the network’s on-air programming – these platforms will provide breaking news, special reports and in-depth analysis covering the Ravens daily from New Orleans. Comcast SportsNet’s live Super Bowl Sunday coverage, which will feature complete game-day news, analysis and interviews, starts with a one-hour Ravens Kickoff on Feb. 3 at 5 p.m. Ravens Postgame Live will begin immediately after the game for an hour, beginning at approximately 10 p.m. The coverage will be led by host Miller and analysts Jackson and Antonio Freeman, with interviews and reports from Harris, Carlin and J. Michael. Ravens Postgame Live will encore at 12 a.m. and Feb. 4 at 7 a.m.
