NEW EPISODE OF “NFL TURNING POINT” AIRS WEDNESDAY AT 10:30 P.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS NETWORK

New York – November 27, 2012 - Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs this Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers defeat of Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints; Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; and a spotlight look at Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton and the Bengals passing game. In addition, Football Night In America’s Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will breakdown the keys to this Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles - Dallas Cowboys matchup.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

- An in-depth look at the Saints – 49ers, and how Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers were able to beat Drew Brees and the Saints. NFL Turning Point examines the play of San Francisco’s two quarterbacks, Kaepernick and Alex Smith, and how Kaepernick has been able to lead the team to more success in the red zone. In addition, NFL Films shines a light on 49ers LB Ahmad Brooks’ pick six with 30-seconds left in the first half, a play that proved to be a Turning Point in the game.

- NFL Turning Point also explores the Falcons - Buccaneers, and how Matt Ryan was able to lead Atlanta to a victory over Tampa Bay. NFL Films looks at the offensive struggles of the Falcons during the game, and the team’s inability to score in the red zone during the first half. NFL Turning Point breaks down Atlanta’s six-play, 64-yard game winning drive in the fourth quarter, including the play of RB Jacquizz Rodgers, and RB Michael Turner’s three-yard touchdown run that gave Atlanta the win.

- The program shines a spotlight on the Cincinnati Bengals offense and the passing game of QB Andy Dalton. Dalton was wired for sound during the Bengals game against the Raiders. The segment features interviews with Dalton and WR A.J. Green.

- Football Night In America’s Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy look ahead to this Sunday’s Eagles - Cowboys matchup, breaking down the keys to the game for both teams.

Each week NFL Turning Point will be built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and will focus on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show will feature anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

Earlier this year NFL Films and NBC Sports Group agreed to renew the Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons. This year, NBC Sports Network will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII. -NBC Sports Group-
