Caught Looking will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the 2012 World Series between the San Francisco Giants and Detroit Tigers.
Major League Baseball Productions embedded camera crews with both teams throughout the series, providing a unique perspective on the action between the lines as the National League champion San Francisco Giants swept the American League champion Detroit Tigers.
In addition to exclusive commentary from star players on both teams, this episode features compelling in-game audio throughout the four-game series, highlighted by wireless microphones worn by Giants pitcher Matt Cain during game one, first baseman Brandon Belt in game two, and pitcher Jeremy Affeldt during game three. The show also captured pregame sound from around the batting cage before every game.
The episode also includes in-depth commentary from Giants manager Bruce Bochy and Tigers manager Jim Leyland. Off the field, camera crews captured many different moments with the teams and players. A crew traveled with Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder as he spent time at home with his family before the World Series. Another crew spent time with Giants outfielder Hunter Pence, after his remarkable game two performance in which he was responsible for both of the Giants runs. MLB Productions cameras continued to stay with the Giants after the World Series, and were on site in San Francisco during the Giants victory parade late last week. Cameras crews followed a number of players and traveled the parade route with Pence and Giants pitcher Barry Zito.
Caught Looking, a new collaboration between Major League Baseball Productions and NBC Sports Group followed two different teams each week, as the final eight weeks of the season unfolded. Each original episode is one hour in length and will air on NBC Sports Network.
