NEW EPISODE OF “NFL TURNING POINT” AIRS WEDNESDAY AT 10:30 P.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS NETWORK

In-Depth Look at Key Week 9 Matchups between Steelers-Giants and Colts–Dolphins Spotlight Look at Seahawks-Vikings

New York – November 6, 2012 – Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs this Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. ET. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers victory over Eli Manning and the New York Giants; how Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts outplayed Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins; and a spotlight look at Marshawn Lynch and the SeahawksVikings game. In addition, Football Night In America’s Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will breakdown the keys to this Sunday’s Houston Texans-Chicago Bears matchup.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode will include:

– An in-depth look at the Steelers–Giants, and how Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelerswere able to beat Eli Manning and the New York Giants. NFL Turning Point examines the performance of both quarterbacks, the Steelers run game and why the Giants defense was unable able to stop Steelers running back Isaac Redman or wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. In addition, NFL Turning Point dissects key segments of the fourth quarter; including Pittsburgh wide receiver Mike Wallace’s 51-yard touchdown.

NFL Turning Point explores the Colts-Dolphins, and the shootout between the two young quarterbacks. NFL Films also looks at the record-setting performance by Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, hisabilityto consistently convert on 3rd down, and how that helped Indianapolis win on Sunday. In addition, NFL Turning Point reviews Sean Smith’s dropped interception on 3rd-and-4 in the fourth quarter, and how that proved to be the turning point in the game

– The program shines a spotlight on the Seahawks–Vikings, and the strength of Seattle’s backfield. NFL Films breaks down the techniques and schemes that led to Marshawn Lynch’s 124 yard performance.

Football Night In America’s Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy look ahead to this Sunday’s Texans-Bears matchup, breaking down the keys to the game for both teams.

Each week NFL Turning Point will be built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and will focus on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show will feature anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

Earlier this year NFL Films and NBC Sports Group agreed to renew the Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons. This year, NBC Sports Network will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.
