NEW YORK – September 20, 2012 – NBC andNBC Sports Network continue their 2012 college football coverage this Saturday with a quadruple-header, highlighted by No. 11 Notre Dame versus No. 18 Michigan in primetime at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The Fighting Irish host the Wolverines as Notre Dame returns home after a victory on the road, and Michigan comes off of a 50-point win that involved eight different players scoring touchdowns. Veteran NBC announcer Tom Hammond will handle play-by-play for the game, alongside analyst Mike Mayock. Alex Flanagan will serve as the sideline reporter from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind.

NBC Sports’ college football studio team of Liam McHugh, 1984 Heisman Trophy Winner Doug Flutie, and two-time Super Bowl champion Hines Ward will provide pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage across NBC and NBC Sports Network throughout the 2012 season. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated will join the studio crew at halftime of the Notre Dame game on NBC

Cornell hosts the Yale Bull Dogs in Ithaca, N.Y., at 1 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Yale is coming off of a historic game against Georgetown during which freshman quarterback Eric Williams completed a pass to junior wide receiver Cameron Sandquist for 98 yards and a touchdown, the longest play in Yale history. Todd Harris will serve as play-by-play announcer and will be joined in the booth by analyst Blaine Fowler. Kelli Johnson will report from the sideline of Schoellkopf Field in Ithaca.

Brown hosts Harvard at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Both teams won last week and stand at 1-0. Randy Moss will call the game and will be joined by analyst Ross Tucker. Carolyn Manno will report from Brown Stadium in Providence, R.I.

The Hawaii Warriors host the Nevada Wolf Pack, in Oahu, Hawaii, at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Paul Burmeister will manage the play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by analyst and NFL Hall of Fame inductee Rod Woodson. Anthony Herron will serve as the sideline reporter from Aloha Stadium. .

NBC SPORTS LIVE EXTRA DIGITAL COVERAGE

NBC Sports Live Extra Online: For the third consecutive season, all of NBC’s Notre Dame games will be streamed live on NBCSports.com. NBC Sports Live Extra will feature a simulcast of the broadcast feed in full HD quality plus one additional online-only bonus camera. The video player will include picture-in-picture capability and full DVR functionality, allowing the user to pause the live video and even review plays in “slo-mo.”

Sideline reporter Alex Flanagan will provide live in-game tweets. Additionally, fans can watch live coverage of the Notre Dame and visiting teams’ bands at halftime, in-game highlights, as well as a live postgame footage that will include head coach Brian Kelly’s press conference.

NBC Sports Live Extra App: All Notre Dame games will be live streamed on the new NBC Sports Live Extra app. In the coming months, the new app will live stream an abundance of live sporting events that air on NBC, NBC Sports Network or Golf Channel, including MLS, NHL, PGA TOUR, LPGA, European PGA TOUR, Ryder Cupand more, with the vast majority of content only available to TV Everywhere customers.
