				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Al Koken is the reporter for Washington Capitals games on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and serves as the host of the network’s pre- and post-game shows, <i>Capitals Central</i> and <i>Capitals Postgame Live</i>. He is also a play-by-play announcer for the network’s coverage of college basketball.</p>
<p>Koken, who joined the network in 1984, has served in every role for Comcast SportsNet during his tenure – including play-by-play announcer, analyst, reporter and host – and has covered every college and professional team in the region. This includes experience as play-by-play announcer and analyst for the Capitals, play-by-play announcer and reporter for the then-Washington Bullets and Baltimore Orioles reporter.</p>
<p>In addition to his work at Comcast SportsNet, Koken previously served as a sports anchor and reporter for Washington’s WTTG-TV and WUSA-TV. He joined the WTTG sports department in 1981, his first position in television, and worked with WUSA in the late 1980’s. He also hosted a locally syndicated Redskins show, “Ball Hogs,” and a nationally syndicated show, “The Sports Edge,” as well as work with ESPN and Fox Sports.</p>
<p>Koken has also held prominent roles covering sports for radio and print organizations during a career that began in 1975. He spent more than a decade as co-host of “The John Thompson Show” on ESPN 980 and hosted a nightly sports radio call-in show, “Sports Talk,” for two-and-a-half years on WTOP. He also spent more than five years covering sports as a print journalist for United Press International.</p>
<p>A native of St. Louis, Koken is a graduate of AmericanUniversity and resides in Silver Spring, Md.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alan May serves as the analyst for Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic’s Washington Capitals pre- and post-game shows, <i>Capitals Central</i> and <i>Capitals Postgame Live</i>. As one of the region’s foremost hockey authorities, he also contributes to the network’s NHL coverage on <i>SportsNet Central</i>, as well as online at CSNwashington.com.</p>
<p>A 15-year veteran of professional hockey as a player and coach, May joined Comcast SportsNet in 2009 to cover the Capitals, his former team. His other broadcasting experience includes work as an analyst for the NHL Network and pre- and post-game coverage for the Dallas Stars’ radio flagship KTCK 1310 AM, as well as various national and local radio programs.</p>
<p>May played 12 seasons of professional hockey, including five seasons with the Capitals from 1989-90 to 1993-94. In 345 games with Washington, he recorded 27 goals and 42 assists for 69 points and amassed 1,189 penalty minutes, which ranks him fourth on the team’s all-time list. He also appeared in 39 playoff games for the Capitals, including the team’s trip to the Wales Conference Finals in 1990. Overall, he spent eight seasons in the NHL with Washington, Boston, Edmonton, Dallas and Calgary, recording 31 goals, 86 points and 1,348 penalty minutes in 393 games.</p>
<p>May also has three seasons of coaching experience. He served as an assistant coach for the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL, the Tampa Bay Lightning’s top minor-league affiliate, during the 2008-09 season. He began his coaching career as the head coach of the Central Hockey League’s Fayetteville Force during the 1997-98 season and was the head coach of the Lubbock Cotton Kings of the Western Professional Hockey League in 1999-00.</p>
<p>A native of Barrhead, Alberta, May and his family reside in Frisco, Texas.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Former NFL wide receiver <b>Amani Toomer</b> joined NBC Sports Radio in 2012 and serves as co-host of <i>Amani and Eytan</i>, which airs Monday-Friday from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Radio.</p>
<p>Prior to joining NBC Sports Radio, Toomer was a regular contributor to <i>NBC SportsTalk </i>on NBC Sports Network, SiriusXM NFL Radio, and MSG’s Varsity’s coverage of <i>Friday Night Football</i>.</p>
<p>Before starting his career as a sportscaster, Toomer spent 14 seasons with the New York Giants, retiring as the team’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards, and was part of the championship team that won Super Bowl XLII.</p>
<p>A graduate of the University of Michigan, Toomer resides in Weehawken, New Jersey.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anita Marks joined NBC Sports Radio in 2012 and serves as the host of <i>The Anita Marks Show, </i>weekends from Noon – 3 p.m. ET<i> </i> on NBC Sports Radio.</p>
<p>A 12 year veteran of sports talk radio, Marks began her career in Miami, Fla.  In 2006 Marks made her way to Baltimore, MD where her afternoon drive show was simulcast for four years on Comcast Mid Atlantic Sports Network. Marks joined WFAN in New York in 2010 and served as a host and reporter for shows on WFAN and Sirius XM.</p>
<p>In addition to her radio job, Marks also played women’s professional football.  Marks quarterbacked for The Miami Fury for four years and The Florida Stingrays for one year. Known for her incredible arm strength and pin point accuracy. Marks developed a reputation for being one of the best QB&#8217;s to ever play women&#8217;s pro football.</p>
<p>In her free time, Anita enjoys playing flag football, basketball, and golf. She also enjoys travel, jazz music, and fine wines.</p>
<p>Marks attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a Communications degree in 1992.</p>

<p>Prior to joining NBC Sports Radio, Kenny worked for MLB Network and ESPN.</p>
<p>While at ESPN, Kenny was a regular anchor on SportsCenter and was host of <em>The Brian Kenny Show </em>on ESPN Radio. Kenny previously served as an ESPN anchor for &#8220;Baseball Tonight,&#8221; receiving a Sports Emmy Award in 2003. Kenny called play-by-play for ESPN&#8217;s Wednesday Night Baseball and the World Baseball Classic and hosted ESPN&#8217;s coverage of the National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown, New York.</p>
<p>Kenny was named &#8220;Media Personality of the Year&#8221; by SI.com in 2004, and in 2005 he was the recipient of the Sam Taub Award, awarded by the Boxing Writers Association of America to the Boxing Broadcaster of the Year. Kenny appeared as himself in the 2006 film, &#8220;Rocky Balboa&#8221; and in the 2007 film, &#8220;Resurrecting the Champ.&#8221;</p>
<p>Prior to joining ESPN, Kenny was Sports Director at WTZA-TV in Kingston, N.Y. for 11 years (1986-1997). While at WTZA, he won 11 New York State Broadcasters Association Awards and five Associated Press Awards for Journalistic Excellence. From 1985-1986, he was a news reporter then sports anchor at WLIG-TV in Riverhead, N.Y.</p>
<p>Kenny attended St. John&#8217;s University and the New York Institute of Technology. He graduated magna cum laude from New York Tech in 1985. He and his wife Nicole have five children.</p>

<p>Prior to joining NBC Sports Radio, Webber served as a co-host for NFL AM on the NFL Network. Webber also held studio host and play-by-play positions at Tennis Channel, FOX Sports West and Comcast Sports Net Bay Area.</p>
<p>Webber graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Political Science. Webber also holds an MBA from the University of Southern California.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Christy Winters Scott serves as a host and analyst for Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic’s pre- and post-game Washington Wizards programs, <i>Wizards Central</i> and <i>Wizards Postgame Live</i>, and is the analyst for the network’s coverage of Washington Mystics games. She also contributes to the network’s college basketball coverage.</p>
<p>As a player, Winters Scott was a four-year letter-winner for the University of Maryland from 1986 to 1990. She was an integral part of Maryland’s 1989 Atlantic Coast Conference championship team and led the team to that year’s NCAA Final Four. As a senior, Winters Scott was a first team All-ACC player, ACC All Tournament player, and Kodak All-American and All-East Region selection. She is a member of Maryland’s Athletic Hall of Fame. She also spent four years playing professionally in Italy and Switzerland.</p>
<p>Winters Scott has an extensive college coaching background. Most recently, she was an assistant coach with Georgetown and spent four seasons as an assistant with Maryland from 1997 to 2002. Prior to that, she was an assistant coach at GeorgeMasonUniversity for four seasons.</p>
<p>A versatile broadcaster, Winters Scott has a wealth of experience covering the NBA, WNBA and NCAA for a variety of television and radio networks, including CBS Radio and Fox Sports. She has also hosted several local and national basketball programs.</p>
<p>A native of Reston, Va., she earned a degree in communications from Maryland.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clay Travis joined NBC Sports Radio in 2012 and serves as the host of <em>The Clay Travis Show. </em></p>
<p>Prior to joining NBC Sports Radio, Travis hosted his own show on 104.5 The Fan in Nashville, Tenn.  In addition to his role on the radio, Travis has written for CBS Sports.com and was a national columnist at FanHouse.com.</p>
<p>Travis was born and raised in Nashville, Tenn. and graduated from George Washington University in 2001 with a degree in history. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Craig Laughlin has served as analyst for Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic’s live-game coverage of the Washington Capitals since 1990.</p>
<p>As a player, Laughlin spent six seasons as a forward for the Capitals from 1982-83 to 1987-88, appearing in 428 regular-season games and recording 110 goals and 173 assists. He also played in 27 playoff games for the Capitals. Originally drafted by Montreal, where he spent his rookie NHL season, he joined the Capitals as part of a blockbuster trade with the Canadiens that included Rod Langway in September 1982.</p>
<p>Overall, Laughlin played in 549 games over eight NHL seasons with Montreal, Washington, Los Angeles and Toronto, recording 136 goals and 205 assists. His playing experience also includes part of three seasons with Nova Scotia of the American Hockey League from 1979-80 to 1981-82 and one season in Germany with EV Lanshut. Laughlin played collegiately for ClarksonUniversity, where he earned a degree in marketing and economics. He played in 127 games during a four-year career with Clarkson.</p>
<p>Laughlin has been involved in a number of business ventures and remains active in area youth hockey programs. He is president of Network Hockey, a year-round hockey development program, and is president of hockey operations for the Frederick Freeze junior programs. He also previously served as co-owner and general manager of the ECHL’s Richmond Renegades.</p>
<p>A native of Toronto, Laughlin resides in Maryland.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dan Schwartzman joined NBC Sports Radio in 2012 and serves as the host of <i>The Dan Schwartzman Show</i>, which airs Monday – Friday from 1 – 5 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Radio. He is also an NBC Sports Radio update announcer.</p>
<p>Schwartzman has loved sports talk radio since his early years growing up in New York City. Most recently, he was a host at ESPN Radio in New York and ESPN Radio stations in Philadelphia, Trenton and Atlantic City. Before that, Schwartzman spent years hosting weekdays in Philadelphia on WPEN. Schwartzman got his start in radio while hosting shows in Ohio and Alabama.</p>
<p>A graduate of Ohio University, with a degree in Telecommunications, Schwartzman resides in New York City.</p>
