Biathlon Play-by-Play

Steve Schlanger reprises his role as a play-by-play commentator for NBC Olympics’ biathlon coverage at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. PyeongChang marks Schlanger’s fourth Olympic assignment, most recently serving as a play-by-play announcer during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Schlanger made his NBC Olympics debut at the 2012 Olympic Games in London as the cycling, triathlon, water polo and open water swimming play-by-play announcer. He currently serves as a play-by-play announcer for a variety of sports on NBC, NBCSN and the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, including alpine skiing, hockey, basketball, cycling, speed skating, luge, figure skating and freestyle skiing. Schlanger has also called baseball and football throughout his career.
