PIERRE MOOSSA

Director, Super Bowl LII Pre-Game Show

Pierre Moossa will serve as a director for NBC’s Super Bowl LII Pre-game Show on February 4, 2018. This marks Moossa’s fourth Super Bowl assignment, having previously worked on Super Bowl XLIX, the most-watched show in U.S. television history.

 

Pierre Moossa is currently Coordinating Producer for NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage. He also serves as director for Notre Dame Football, Thursday Night Football, NBC Olympics’ figure skating and gymnastics coverage, and for the Tour De France.

 

Moossa previously worked for six years on NBC Sports’ award-winning Sunday Night Football coverage.

 

A 16-time Emmy Award winner, Moossa has worked on 10 Olympic Games, beginning as a runner during the Atlanta Olympics. He was a production associate at the 2000 Sydney Games, where he won his first Emmy for Outstanding Live Event Turnaround. In 2002, Moossa won two Emmy Awards, one for NBA on NBC and the other for Outstanding Live Sports Special during the Salt Lake Winter Olympic Games. Moossa was also an associate director for the daytime and late night studio show during the 2004 Athens Games, where he won another Emmy Award.

 

Throughout his career at NBC Sports, Moossa has served in roles on NBC’s coverage of the U.S. Open; Triple Crown horse racing coverage; Westminster Dog Show; Wimbledon; and French Open.

 

Moossa graduated from Vanderbilt University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
