Ski Jumping Play-by-Play

Paul Burmeister makes his Winter Olympics debut as a ski jumping play-by-play announcer for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. PyeongChang marks Burmeister’s third Olympic assignment for NBC Olympics, most recently serving as a water polo play-by-play announcer during the 2016 Olympic Games.

Burmeister has served as a studio host and play-by-play announcer for NBC Sports Group since 2011. In addition, Burmeister has handled play-by-play duties for NBC’s coverage of the Bayou Classic and the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, and has also provided play-by-play commentary for NBCSN’s college basketball coverage. He will also appear on the NBC’s pre-game coverage of Super Bowl LII, reporting from the Patriots’ hotels.
