STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 8, 2019 – NBC Sports has added bonus coverage this Monday for NHL Veterans Appreciation Night when Alex Ovechkin and the Metropolitan Division-leading Washington Capitals host Phil Kessel and the Arizona Coyotes at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Navy Federal Credit Union is the official partner for the holiday showdown.
John Walton (play-by-play) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Ahmed Fareed will host coverage on NHL Live alongside analysts Keith Jones and Anson Carter.
The Metropolitan Division-leading Capitals (12-2-3) are currently on a five-game winning streak, and defeated the Florida Panthers last night in overtime 5-4. The Coyotes (9-5-2) have six victories in their last 10 matchups, but fell to the Blue Jackets by a score of 3-2 last night.
