NBC Sports and U.S. Figure Skating Announce 2019-20 Television Schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (October 2, 2019) — NBC Sports and U.S. Figure Skating announced today the broadcast schedule for the 2019-20 figure skating season, featuring 80+ hours of coverage between October and April.

Beginning with Skate America, NBC Sports will present 30+ hours of figure skating coverage on NBC, with 50+ hours airing on NBCSN. In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present original programming plus encores of NBC and NBCSN figure skating coverage of several events. Coverage will showcase the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series (including Skate America), ISU World Championships, ISU Four Continents Championships and the ISU European Championships. Every skate is available live and commercial free with the Figure Skating Pass on NBC Sports Gold.

NBC Sports will kick off its Grand Prix Series coverage with 2019 Skate America presented by American Cruise Lines, set for Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas. The entire event will be covered live on NBC Sports Gold, with seven hours on NBC and NBCSN. Every stop on the Grand Prix Series will feature same-weekend coverage on NBC and will conclude with a Grand Prix Final recap show on Dec. 22.

NBC Sports’ four-day live coverage of the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, which will be held Jan. 23-26, 2020, in Greensboro, North Carolina, features each discipline, including live primetime NBCSN coverage of the ladies’ short program and free skate on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Friday, Jan. 24, respectively. The men’s competition will feature two live shows on NBC on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26. The Skating Spectacular will air Sunday, Feb. 2 on NBC.

Additionally, NBC Sports will televise 10 hours of the ISU European Championships, as well as 10 hours of the ISU Four Continents Championships.

NBC and NBCSN will cover 18 hours of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships, which are set for March 18-21, in Montreal.  The ladies and men’s free skate will be featured in primetime on Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22.

Coverage on NBC and NBCSN is live streamed on NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app. Coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA is available on OlympicChannel.com, the Olympic Channel app, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app.

NBC Sports and U.S. Figure Skating are in the midst of a long-term media rights agreement that will run through 2026.
