STAMFORD, Conn. – September 12, 2019 – Leading up to the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs this weekend in Las Vegas, NBC Sports presents a special episode of the NASCAR on NBC Podcast featuring an interview with Jeff Burton. Plus, Steve Letarte checks in with Big Machine Label Group President & CEO Scott Borchetta from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on a new episode of Letarte on Location. NBC Sports kicks off weekend race coverage with the final regular season race of the Xfinity Series with the Rhino Pro Truck Outfitter 300 this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

In addition, The Peter King Podcast presents two new podcast episodes this week featuring interviews with former NFL executive Michael Lombardi and Packers lineman David Bakhtiari on playing for a new coach and protecting Aaron Rodgers. Several NBC Sports Regional Networks continue to debut NFL-themed podcasts each week; this week’s content is highlighted by exclusives interviews with Jay Gruden and Adrian Peterson on Redskins Talk.

  • NASCAR on NBC Podcast: Host Nate Ryan interviews NASCAR stars and insiders each week. Ryan also discusses the latest NASCAR news, including a weekly recap of races, and looks ahead to what’s next in the sport.

    • On this week’s episode: In the debut of a new weekly feature during the 2019 Cup Playoffs, Jeff Burton discusses the aftermath of the Brickyard 400 regular season and what’s ahead for the 16 drivers in the 2019 Playoffs. Burton discusses why he believes this is the most wide-open field in Cup history, if Ryan Newman can escape the first round after managing to make his way into the Playoffs, if a team can “turn it on for the Playoffs”, what the future holds for Jimmie Johnson, and more.
