POSTSEASON BREAKDOWN
All six PLL teams will be involved in the postseason. In the Battle for the Crown, the teams ranked No. 1 (Chaos LC) and No. 2 (Whipsnakes LC) at the end of the regular season will now have a shot at vying for the championship. The teams ranked No. 5 (Atlas LC) and No. 6 (Chrome LC) will have a shot at vying for the first overall pick in next year’s draft.
For teams ranked No. 3 (Archers LC) and No. 4 (Redwoods LC), they will either move on to the championship bracket, or battle for the first draft pick.
The PLL postseason will stretch across three weekends — Sept. 6-7 in Columbus, Oh.; Sept. 14 in New York; and the championship on Sept. 21 in Philadelphia. The championship game will air 2:30 p.m. on NBC.
