WEEK 9 PREVIEW

CHAOS LC (6-2) VS. ARCHERS LC (4-4) – Saturday, August 17, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN

Each riding a two-game winning streak, Chaos LC and Archers LC are the two hottest teams in the PLL right now. In a rematch of a game that ended in a one-point win for Chaos, Archers will be looking for revenge and a chance to lock up a playoff spot while Chaos is looking to secure a Top 2 seed.

CHROME LC (2-6) VS. ATLAS LC (3-5) – Saturday, August 17, at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold

Chrome is coming off a victory over Whipsnakes LC, where for the second time this season, they set the record for most points in a game. They have found their winning formula on offense while reaping the benefits of putting their full trust in their rookie faceoff athlete, Connor Farrell.

Chrome will be eliminated from the playoffs with a loss this weekend, while a loss by Atlas could do series damage to their playoff hopes.

WHIPSNAKES LC (5-3) VS. REDWOODS LC (4-4)
– Sunday, August 18, at 6p.m. ET on NBCSN

For the third week in a row, the case remains the same for Whipsnakes LC: If they win, they’re in the playoffs. For Redwoods LC, they can clinch a playoff spot this weekend with a win as well as a loss by Atlas.

Redwoods are dealing with injuries heading into Week 9 as Eddy Glazener went down with a shoulder injury and Matt Kavanagh injured his ankle. However, Redwoods have the depth to immediately fill these spots.
