PETER KING TRAINING CAMP INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS:

Sherman on his interview after the 2013 NFC Championship: “It was pure joy. It was completion. It was intensity. It was some anger. It was joy that we had made it to the Super Bowl, but more, it was just competitiveness. You know, I’m competitive. I don’t think I fully understood going to the Super Bowl. I understood that I won, and that’s all that mattered to me.”

Sherman on an 18-game regular season: “I think it has very little chance at happening unless something astronomical is conceded, and it’d be something that’s in the best interest of the majority of our players. There’s so many things that could happen, for the most part, I don’t think that’s on the table for our guys.”

McCaffrey on his philosophy when having the ball: “Once you get the ball, as soon as you start thinking, that’s when you’re wrong. I just let my instincts take over, trust my eyes.”

McCaffrey on being teammates with Cam Newton: “Cam made it more fun. I was allowed to be loose, and have fun, and really appreciate the game more, and not be so critical of myself all the time, and obviously I’m still very hard on myself, and I think that’s the way it should be, but Cam brought the fun back in football for me.”
