IMSA WEATHERTECH SPORTS CAR CHAMPIONSHIP – SIX HOURS OF THE GLEN – SUNDAY AT 9:30 A.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS GOLD; 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Six Hours of The Glen continues the seven-decade legacy of sports car racing in Watkins Glen, New York this Sunday. On October 2, 1948, the village of Watkins Glen hosted the first post-WWII road race in America, using a 6.6-mile course that was made up mostly of paved roads and a short stretch of dirt and gravel. This weekend’s race marks round number six of the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Championship, and race three of four in the 2019 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. Current point leaders heading into this weekend’s race are DPI: #31 Whelen Engineering (Felipe Nasr, Pipo Derani), GTLM: #912 Porsche GT Team (Earl Bamber, Laurens Vanthoor), GTD: #86 Meyer Shank Racing (Mario Farnbacher, Trent Hindman), and LMP2: #38 Performance Tech (Cameron Cassels, Kyle Masson).
