STAMFORD, Conn. – June 20, 2019 – NBC Sports continues its exclusive coverage of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series this Sunday, June 23, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC with live coverage of the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America, one of the most iconic tracks in the country. Pre-race coverage on NBC from Elkhart Lake, Wis., begins at 12 p.m. ET.

Josef Newgarden (Team Penske; 367 points) currently leads the INDYCAR driver standings following his third win of the season in the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway earlier this month. Newgarden holds a slim advantage over Indy 500 runner-up Alexander Rossi (Andretti Autosport; 342 points) and 2019 Indy 500 winner and Penske teammate Simon Pagenaud (319 points).  Newgarden took the checkered flag in last year’s event at Road America.

Live INDYCAR coverage from Road America begins Friday at 12:05 p.m. ET with Practice 1 exclusively on NBC Sports Gold’s INDYCAR Pass, which will provide live streaming coverage of all practices, qualifying, Indy Lights races and on-demand replays for the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season. This marks the first time that all NTT IndyCar Series qualifying and practice sessions will receive television-quality production, including timing and scoring. Live streaming coverage from Road America continues Friday at 4 p.m. ET on INDYCAR Pass with Practice 2. INDYCAR Pass will present live coverage of Practice 3 on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. Live coverage of qualifying begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on INDYCAR Pass, with additional qualifying coverage at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports’ lead INDYCAR broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), Townsend Bell (analyst), and Paul Tracy (analyst), a two-time winner at Road America (1993, 2000), will have the call of the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America on Sunday. Kevin LeeMarty Snider, Dillon Welch and Robin Miller will provide reports from the pits.

Sunday’s pre-race coverage on NBC will feature an interview with NBC Sports’ motorsports reporter Rutledge Wood and Andretti Autosport driver Alexander Rossi, who has been runner-up in three of the past four races. Additionally, Townsend Bell and Paul Tracy will speak with current INDYCAR rookie of the year points leader Santino Ferrucci on a pontoon boat on Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin to discuss his rookie campaign which included a seventh-place finish at the Indy 500.

NBC Sports continues its 2019 Mecum Auto Auctions coverage from Portland, Ore., this weekend, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSN will present additional coverage on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET, following INDYCAR qualifying coverage from Road America. Encore presentations of Friday and Saturday’s coverage will air throughout the weekend.

Featured lots expected to cross the auction block at the Portland Expo Center include a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback and a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Scott Hoke will host coverage on-site in Portland, alongside analysts John Kraman and Stephen Cox, and reporters Bill Stephens and Katie Osborne.

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP – FLORIDA NATIONAL – SATURDAY AT 3 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season this weekend from the Florida National in Jacksonville, Fla. Eli Tomac had podium finishes in both Motos last weekend to secure the overall 450MX class win at the High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pa. This was Tomac’s second overall victory of the season and 19th of his career. 2nd Motos will air on Saturday on NBCSN at 3 p.m. ET. NBC Sports Gold will present comprehensive live streaming coverage of qualifiers and both motos on Saturday beginning at 10:15 a.m. ET.

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 American Flat Track, the most historic form of American motorcycle racing, this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with the Laconia Short Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Featuring the world’s fastest motorcycle racers on dirt battling it out at speeds approaching 140 MPH, American Flat Track is the most prestigious and most competitive form of dirt track motorcycle racing in the world. Jason Weigandt (play-by-play) and A.J. Allmendinger (analyst) will call the action.

2019 INDYCAR SEASON ON NBC AND NBCSN

NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series began earlier this year with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the first of 17 races to air on NBC and NBCSN during the season.

The 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500 was the first ever on NBC. NBC Sports’ remaining INDYCAR coverage on NBC includes races at Road America on Sunday, June 23 and Mid-Ohio on Sunday, July 28. The 2019 NTT IndyCar Series championship will be decided on NBC, with the season’s penultimate race in Portland on Sunday, Sept. 1, followed by season finale at Laguna Seca on Sunday, Sept. 22. Click here for more information.
