Just three weeks separate the Critérium du Dauphiné, which begins in France’s Department of Cantal for the first time this year, and the Tour de France (July 6-28). The winner of the Critérium du Dauphiné has gone on to win the Tour de France four times in the last six years, and the race will once again feature several Tour de France hopefuls. Top contenders include four-time Tour winner Chris Froome (Team Ineos), winner of the 2019 Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the 2017 Critérium du Dauphiné Jakob Fuglsang (Astana), and two-time La Flèche Wallonne champion Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick-Step).

Steve Schlanger calls the action on NBCSN joined by analyst Bob Roll.
