NBC & NBCSN to Televise All 12 Rounds of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Season
NBC Sports Gold’s “Pro Motocross Pass” to Showcase Qualifiers, Moto 1s and Moto 2s Available Live, On-Demand and Commercial-Free, Exclusively for Subscribers
Race Coverage Begins Saturday, May 18, at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Presentation of the Hangtown Classic
STAMFORD, Conn. – May 16, 2019 – NBC Sports and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product – will combine to showcase more than 70 hours of 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship programming, including all 12 rounds, beginning Saturday, May 18, with the 51st Annual Hangtown Motocross Classic in Sacramento, Calif. Saturday’s coverage on NBCSN begins at 6 p.m. ET.
NBC and NBCSN will combine to present every Moto 2 from all 12 rounds of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App will livestream all television coverage.
In addition to coverage on NBC and NBCSN, NBC Sports Gold’s “Pro Motocross Pass” will super-serve Motocross fans everywhere with more than 50 additional hours of programming, including live, commercial-free coverage of every qualifier, Moto 1 and Moto 2 from every round, as well as full event replays from the two previous seasons.
Live coverage of every Moto 1 from all 12 rounds of the season will also be featured on MAVTV.
Jason Weigandt will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all telecasts on NBCSN. Weigandt will be joined by analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston, while Will Christien will serve as the pit reporter for coverage during the 2019 season.

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, features the world’s fastest outdoor motocross racers, competing aboard homologated bikes from one of six competing manufacturers on a collection of the roughest, toughest tracks on the planet. The 12-round series begins just outside California’s famed Hangtown in May, and ends at Indiana’s Ironman Raceway in August. The summer-long championship includes stops at America’s premier motocross racing facilities, with events in California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington, New York and Indiana. Racing takes place each Saturday afternoon, with competition divided into two classes: one for 250cc machines, and one for 450cc machines.
