STAMFORD, Conn. – May 2, 2019 – NBC Sports celebrates the 145th Kentucky Derby (Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC) with special episodes of the Mike Tirico Podcast and the On Her Turf podcast.

Featured on the Mike Tirico Podcast, Sports Illustrated’s Tim Layden discusses the excitement of Derby culture, the current state of horse racing, and the impressive history of several Kentucky Derby winners. In addition, former jockey and NBC Sports reporter Donna Brothers and handicapper/reporter Britney Eurton join Kathryn Tappen’s On Her Turf podcast to share their excitement around covering the Derby and reflect on their career paths in horse racing.
